Draven was out, thus leaving Avelina seated in the room all alone. She was enjoying her reading as always, with a bit of a witty smile on her face.
A sudden knock came at the door.
"My lady, it is I, Thalia."
Avelina raised her pupils. She frowned and glanced at the door, wondering why Thalia would be at her door at such a late hour in the evening. It was currently five p.m. in the evening.
"What is it?" she asked.
Thalia responded, her voice loud enough, "Well, I must let you know about something quite important, my lady!"
Important? Avelina wrinkled her brows. She closed the book and stood up from the sofa. She strolled to the door and turned the knob, opening the door.
She proffered a light smile. "What's the problem?"
Thalia glanced at her and quickly dipped in a polite curtsy.
"Good evening, my lady. Um, I am here to get you to the dressing room."
