Adam glanced at Valentine.
"Uh…"
"Mon dieu, Mr. Edrei! I am not a child!" Valentine interrupted before Adam could speak. "If I tell you that I eat properly, then I do!"
Mr. Edrei shot him a withering glare. "I don't believe you. You stuttered, and that's what you do when you lie."
Valentine frowned, parting his lips to say something, but Adam spoke first.
"He does not!" He shook his head, immediately going down on his knees. "Forgive me, young master, but I am worried about you as well." He glanced at Valentine, who was scowling at him as though he could kill him if not for Mr. Edrei's presence.
"Go on." Mr. Edrei urged him.
Adam shifted his attention to him. He continued, "My young master has not been eating properly. He has been having a constant loss of appetite. Not only that, but he rarely takes blood now, and even when he does, he barely takes enough. I do not know what is going on." He shook his head.
