Draven glanced at her.
"I do have to. I cannot and must not touch anyone else barehanded, apart from my wife. I only feel comfortable enough to do that around her."
As though this shattered something in both Ava and Lucien, they looked at him with horrified expressions.
"Don!" they hollered.
"What?" Draven answered, not sure why they looked as though they had seen a ghost.
Ava puckered her lips, averting her gaze. "Nothing."
Lucien folded her arms, still looking at what he was doing. Her expression did not look good. She seemed…annoyed.
Draven, who had absolutely no idea what he could have done wrong, shrugged and continued what he was doing.
"Am I doing it right?" he asked.
Lucien batted her lashes and pinched between her brows, cackling. "You will have to do this a few more times to get the hang of it."
This went on for a few more minutes. Draven still appeared as focused as ever.
