Draven's tone held all sincerity, causing Avelina's expression to soften.
"Draven…" Her words were more of a whisper.
Draven flickered his eyes, unwilling to break eye contact with her.
"You sound…jealous…" Avelina mumbled, starting to hear her heart thumping loudly in her ears.
"Jealous?" Draven was confused.
He does not know the feeling of jealousy, as it was something he had never felt before.
Could it be that the irking and annoying feelings he felt earlier were what they called…jealousy?
He lifted his hand to touch his chest. "I guess I am indeed jealous. It's a very weird feeling if I must say." He took a deep breath and stood up to his feet. "Shall we go back now?"
Avelina nodded at him. Before she could even stand up, Draven pulled her up into his arms. He had her wrap her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck.
