Avelina smiled as she nodded at them. She looked away and took a deep, pessimistic breath.
Camilla and Thalia glanced at each other, knowing very well that they had messed up. The look of shock on their faces must have given Avelina the wrong idea, but that really wasn't it.
Knowing that there was nothing they could do, they finished up bathing her and helped her out of the tub. Thalia wrapped her up in a towel, and they left the bathroom to dress her.
In less than thirty minutes, they were done. They smiled at Avelina and left the room.
"Do you think she is upset?" Camilla asked.
Thalia shook her head. "I can't tell."
Camilla blinked her eyes and smiled in what one would call disbelief.
"She's…in love."
Thalia nodded her head. "Yes, and she does not realize that. But...do you think it could be the third prince?"
"I don't know," Camilla replied. "Although I can't think of anyone else that she could possibly be in love with."
