The fluttering feeling in her stomach—they were like something she had never felt before, not even for once.
Avelin turned the tap on. She scooped a palm full of water and splashed her face in the hope of snapping herself back to reality.
She took a long, deep breath and stared at herself in the mirror. Gradually, Avelina could feel the mirror and her surroundings becoming blurry. It was as though she was drowsy.
Perplexed, she shook her head and rubbed her eyes. She looked at the mirror again, but it still appeared blurry.
"What is going on?" Avelina grabbed her head, suddenly feeling as though she would lose consciousness any moment from then on.
She began to stagger off to walk to the door, however, before she could even take three steps, she dropped to the floor unconscious.
