Angered to the core, Old Master Lenort grabbed him and began to land a series of punches on him. But Valentine did not react. He simply covered his face with his arms, unwilling to retaliate.
"You think you have grown wild enough! Of course, you are worth nothing! Do you think that if there was a chance where you could once be useful, I wouldn't use you?" Old Master Lenort questioned. His eyes held no hint of remorse, but extreme hate.
Valentine's eyes flickered rapidly, and unnoticed by anyone, a single bubble of tear that had broken in his eyes fell and dripped onto the floor.
