Xander warned Raymund to stay back, but the knight refused to back down. Although he had very little experience fighting Ethereals, he wanted to help out instead of letting Xander put his life on the line while others watched.
"This is a Silver-fanged Basilisk. Its venom is potent enough to kill even a Goblin King. If you want to fight this thing, you're going to need some potions," Xander said.
Raymund listened carefully and replied, "It is against a knight's code of honor to rely on potions while fighting."
"Then I guess you'll die an honorable death," Xander sneered. Snapping his fingers, he retrieved a card from the Shadow Set. "Play Card: Smoke and Mirrors!"
The card immediately summoned eight more snakes, which were exact copies of the Silver-fanged Basilisk. They quickly surrounded the real Basilisk, trapping it in a circle.
Meanwhile, Xander equipped his scythe and prepared to sneak in for a surprise attack.
