As Xander approached the treasure chest, the shield barrier encasing it disappeared. He reached out with his right hand and immediately the lid of the chest was thrown open.
Inside the chest lay a beautiful silver necklace with a heart-shaped platinum pendant. As Xander took the necklace out of the chest, the pendant attached to it started sparkling, and his system displayed a new notification.

Xander stared at the necklace for a while before prying the pendant open. Inside, lay a picture of little Leena with her father. She was standing on his shoulder with a gleeful smile on her face.
They were standing in front of a baboon enclosure inside the newly renovated central zoo in Faros.
"You look really happy in this picture," Xander mused as he snapped the pendant shut and shoved the necklace into his jacket's inner pocket.
