The All-Seer cleared her throat and snapped her fingers to summon a glass full of bitter brown ale. She gulped it all in one go and then continued with her question.
"What is more important to you: regaining my mother's trust or saving your fallen friend?" she asked.
Xander was expecting a trick question, but this one proved to be more difficult than he had anticipated. He could easily lie about winning the Blind Deity's trust, but he wondered if that would endanger Leena's soul.
"Time is running out. Do not tarry, Warden. Speak your heart. I want an honest reply," the All-Seer urged.
Xander thought about it for a while and then replied, "Both are important to me. I want to right the wrongs of my forefathers and clear my family's name, but I also want to save Leena's soul."
