When compared to Nightmare Gates, closing a Dream Gate was supposed to be a lot easier. But due to the recent turn of events, even the Dreamscape had become unsteady and chaotic, leading to a complete shakeup.
Goblins were among the few Ethereals who could inhabit both dreams and nightmares, and their presence suggested chaos and anarchy. And while the Cave Goblins were regarded as bigger threats, their distant cousins, the Hobgoblins were equally dangerous even though they didn't look all that terrifying.
