Arabella wasn't prepared to face such entities. In fact, she never thought any Dreamscape would be home to such horrifying Ethereals.
As the three little girls ran toward Arabella with their knives and forks ready to stab her flesh, she lashed out with the chain whip, hoping to drive them back. But the fledglings were agile little devils and managed to roll out of harm's way with ease.
Each time Arabella swung her whip, the girls rolled along the ground or jumped over it as if they were playing skipping rope. After a few more attempts, she realized that it was futile to use the chain whip against such nimble opponents.
Due to the length and weight of the steel whip, it was impossible to swing it fast enough to catch the girls off guard. Thus, the little devils always had enough time to react and dodge Arabella's attacks.
