The five obelisks had been arranged to form an inverted imaginary pentagon but to connect them to one another, the lightning bolts had to be deflected properly among them.
Xander quickly pulled out his notebook and scribbled a rough sketch of the scene, noting the position of each obelisk in front of him and adding the bolt deflection patterns.
At the top right was the red obelisk that absorbed all the lightning bolts that struck it from above. Adjacent to it was the blue obelisk at its left. Every lightning bolt that struck its tip was split in two and deflected in different directions.
Under these obelisks was the original green one. It was placed right in between the black and yellow ones. The green obelisk formed a mid-point at the bottom with the black obelisk to its right and the yellow obelisk to its left.
