Noah clapped his hands twice, conjuring a hundred torches around them to form an irregular circle. He then snapped his fingers to summon a Dream Card from his inventory.
It was a silver-white card with lilac flames painted on its edge and the dazzling image of a horned, red-skinned entity on its face.
Holding the card in his left hand, Noah smiled at Xander and said, "This is my world, Dreamwalker, so you will have to play by my rules. If you try to run away, I will kill you. If during the duel you step outside the circle of light, I will kill you. And if you lose, I will kill you."
Death threats coming from a child who looked barely older than ten would have never tilted Xander, but after learning about his twisted past, he knew the boy was capable of more violence than he could ever imagine.
