The previous encounter with the Swamp Deidra had taught Xander how dangerous it was. Fighting a Soul Guardian was nothing like facing an Ethereal. The Swamp Deidra was on a whole different level.
Instead of jumping recklessly into combat, Xander remained hidden behind the tree, peeking from its side without revealing himself to the Soul Guardian. The Swamp Deidra scanned the swamp with its large yellow eyes for a few seconds before diving back into the slimy depths of the mossy pool.
Though by a strange stroke of luck, Xander had been given a second chance at life, he wasn't sure how this Time Inversion worked in the Soulscape. Up until this day, he didn't even have the slightest clue about the existence of the Soulscape and his connection to the legendary Dreamwalkers of Solastia.
Xander recalled his system referring to his bloodline, but he still wasn't sure what it meant.
