Arabella and Harun had come prepared to destroy the Dream Gate, but they weren't expecting things to end like this. For Dante, the Pippin was nothing more than an intruder who did not belong in the real world, but for Arabella, it was a lonely child who only wanted to make friends.
Even as the Baron's Elite Guards moved in to secure the vineyard and congratulate the Dreamwalkers on a job well done, Arabella could not get the incident out of her head. She had promised to let the Pippin go, but in the end, all she could do was watch as Dante shot it dead.
Master Arwin put his hand on Arabella's shoulder and tried to console her, but the shock was too much for her to bear.
"It is over now. You all have made me proud," the old Guild Master said. After a slight pause, he continued, "I know that no one likes making such difficult choices. But, sometimes we must do things for the greater good. There was no other way. They do not belong in our world."
