Led by Jim and Abigail, the Dreamwalkers walked past the crowd of curious onlookers and reached a secluded spot behind the burnt oak tree in the east. The ground looked soft and moist and there were crudely crafted headstones embedded into the soil.
This empty plot of land had served as a graveyard for the villagers of Silver Pine for over a century. It was here they laid their dead to rest and performed the last rites.
However, never in a hundred years had an outsider been allowed to dig up a coffin and examine the body held within.
Jim wasn't too happy about a group of unknown Dreamwalkers desecrating his wife's grave, and he grumbled all the way. But Abigail was there to tide things over and assure him they wouldn't do anything that would hurt his sentiments.
"I buried Claire right here," Jim said, tossing his shovel to Xander.
