"It's a women's health magazine…" Marcella laughed.
She was surprised her husband thought that she would bother to read a book. She only reads magazines; he knows that.
"So? Read anyway," Tony said without missing a beat.
Marcella didn't bother him anymore and read about the hormonal changes a woman faces every menstrual cycle. She didn't think he would be interested in knowing the workings of a woman's body.
"I heard that somewhere—endometrium…" he said as she was reading.
Marcella took a good look at his face. "You are listening?" she asked.
Why would he want to know this?
"Why can't I?" he asked. "You have a uterus. I should know about it. Ah, right! We learned about all this in science class back in school! How did I forget everything already?"
