Months passed and spring arrived. By then, Marcella had made a home out of the house she inherited from her father. Although there were traces left of the home she grew up in, she made sure she made it her marital home too.
Although she was uncomfortable using her parent's bedroom and changed everything, she made sure Tony got used to her father's study. It was in a perfect place for an office/study. It was perfect for her father to greet and have meetings with his guests and she knew it would be perfect for Tony too. Although Tony preferred the small study on the second floor, Marcella slowly trained him to get comfortable in the room that used to be her father's study.
That room didn't change much. She did so on purpose. Her father had designed the room in a way to inspire awe and respect for the one sitting on that big leather chair. The temperature in that room would be lower than the other rooms and anyone who entered the room felt the chill as they entered.
