After the party, Marcella and Tony returned home with Joey. Rather than leaving him at home with the babysitter, they decided to have him with them. Rosy was delighted to be reunited with Joey.
Some wanted to meet Joey. Marcella showed Joey to her father's friends who were excited to meet his grandson. Joey too was excited seeing so many new faces that night. It was well past his bedtime but he had a good time meeting new people and getting cooed at.
Louis Fletcher came to the party really late. Marcella talked to him for some time. Rudolf Hemmingway came to the party with his girlfriend. She looked like a nice person and Marcella didn't know whether that woman knew Rudolf's preferences. She wondered if she should talk about it to her or if she should leave it for her to figure out.
