Chapter 313 - Baja california

Before setting off to Easter Island, they needed to find the most efficient path and it turned to be way more difficult that they initially expected but the main problem was that both Nika and Uriel refused to go anywhere nearby Chichén Itzá as the place brought them bad memories. They also needed to avoid crossing any country borders without permission, and because of Nika's past as a member of the revolutionary forces she didn't want to make any scales in Mexico. As if that wasn't enough, locating such a small island in the middle of the pacific was a difficult task without GPS, but after the arrival it didn't work anymore.

The only solution they thought of was to use Baja California's peninsula as a landmark and then head all south until, hopefully, they found the place they were looking for. Although Baja California was still considered part of Mexico, there were no megacities there, only small settlements.
