Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Deva sat on the bed with a flushed face due to anger, she looked at the man beside her who was fast asleep, who would have thought Slyvian would fall asleep right in the middle of them doing the deed. But she didn't care him falling asleep meant she was still save and her virginity was still in fact.

Deva sneered and arranged her dress walking back to her room.Once she got there she took a bath and sat on the bed to relax, she caught sight of a pink envelope on her bed.

Since when did she receive letters who could have sent it she thought to herself, Deva examined the envelope before opening it.

It was from her mother! Deva immediately concentrated on the contents of the envelope.

"My dear daughter, how have you been I hope you're doing fine. Mother loves you and misses you everyday, I wish I would see you and hug you but mother doesn't have the ability, your father and I miss you everyday and we pray one day you'll come back to us. I hope the king is treating you right and your not a slave in the castle, mother will continue to love you even when you're not here. With love your mother.."

Tears dripped down and fell on the envelope, as Deva silently sobbed heavens know how hard she had been trying to hide the sadness in her heart but her mother's words broke the dam.

She remembered the first time she got here Slyvian was so cruel, he would lock her up in a dark room, kiss her, he had always been wanting to sleep with her and anytime he wouldn't he would vent his rage on her but over the last few months she had gotten smarter the only way to appease the demon was to give it whatever it wanted and slowly the demon became nicer.

Deva was a normal countryside girl, her father was a farmer while her mother was the daughter of a duke, Devany Curtis was her full name and she was eighteen the year.

She regretted leaving the house that day, if she hadn't she would have never met the demon who trapped her by his side.

When they met Slyvian was by the road covered in blood, all she did was help him clean up his wounds and that was how she found herself in this castle today.

At first Slyvian came to her nicely parents that he wanted Deva to be with him, but they refused and sent him away.

The next time Slyvian came he was very vicious, he destroyed their farm and made sure that they had nothing left.

Deva's mother wept bitterly while her father consoled her, ridden with guilt Deva brought herself to Slyvian's arms so that her family could be safe.

After that Slyvian rebuilded the farm and took them to a better place in the countryside.

The only thing was that Slyvian would never let her leave the castle, the last time she had done so he nearly went berserk.

So she accepted her fate as a canary in a cage, she could do whatever she want in the castle but it was not her home. She couldn't ran around as she pleased, she couldn't play in the meadows anymore, or go fishing.

She could only live a regal life and appear lady like, Deva sighed life gave her a heavy blow in her heart. She would never live the simple life she had in mind.

Not until Slyvian was gone!

All she ever wanted was to give a quiet life, have a small house by the sea, kids running around her feet and being with the man she loved but now all those things felt so far fetched.

Deva had fallen asleep as some point and only then did Slyvian appear in the room.

He looked at her solemnly and sighed, he was fast asleep but his eyes immediately open when he heard her cry.

Did she really not like it here or she didn't just like to be with him. Slyvian eyes darkened he could not bear to let her go he would go crazy.

Why should he let her go, she belong to him before, she belong to him now and she would always be his in the future. He would never let her go.

She was his obession! He only wanted her in the world, no other woman could please him. But he also couldn't bear to see tears falling from her beautiful eyes so he would compromise and give her a little bit of freedom.
