clack, The door closed behind them as they entered the room, deciding to make breakfast and talk. However, the atmosphere still felt a bit off to Jooha.
He walked to their room and lay down on the bed, contemplating what he should do now that he had fooled Yonghon into thinking everything was okay. Closing his eyes, he slowly drifted off to sleep.
8:50 - Yonghon's POV:-------------------------------------------
I was so relieved that Jooha was fine and wasn't mad or disappointed in me. I happily prepared breakfast, making fluffy honey pancakes with a cup of caramel coffee mix and some American yogurt, as he always liked it. "Jooha," I called out, but there was no response. I washed my hands and went to the room, asking, "Hey, Yo-e Jooha, are you here?... Eh?" He was fast asleep.
I walked over to the balcony and opened its door, allowing the sunshine to sneak into the dark room, filling it with warmth and light. I approached the left side of the bed where Jooha was sleeping and sat down next to him. The sunlight illuminated his pure skin, making him appear as if he were glowing. I lightly touched his face and brushed his reddish-brown hair behind his ear. It was soft and beautiful. "How can someone so lovely be human? He's more like an angel," I thought.
Leaning closer to him, I softly whispered, "Wake up, Jooha." He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me as I gently patted his cheek and smiled. "Hey," he said in a soft, sleepy voice. I smiled back at him and said, "Good morning." He stood up and giggled, saying, "I smell pancakes." I responded softly, "I made some for you because you said you like them." He smiled and said, "Well, thank you, Wo Yonghon. I bet they'll be delicious." I replied, "They certainly will be. Hehe." I stood up, walked to the door of the room, and turned back to him, saying, "Come quickly, or else I'll eat all the food alone. I'm starving." With that, I headed towards the kitchen.
Soon after, Jooha joined me and sat next to me at the breakfast table. "Oh my, these pancakes look so good, Yonghon," he exclaimed. He took a small bite, and I could see his eyes light up with delight. I simply enjoyed watching him eat. "Do you like them?" I asked, giggling.
We finished our breakfast, and while I cleaned the table, we chatted. Suddenly, Jooha received a phone call. "Hello?... Yung-Yung... Yeah, we're free now. Why?... Oh, yeah, alright, we'll come... Bye, I love you too," he hung up the phone. "Who was that?" I asked while washing the dishes. "That was Yung-Yung," Jooha replied. "What's the matter?" I inquired. "It's nothing too important. It's just about the spring menu," he replied, resting his head on the table and looking at me. "Oh? So..." I trailed off, waiting for him to continue. "She wants us to give them a hand," he whined. I chuckled and asked, "Why do you seem annoyed about it?" He lifted his head, grinning at me. "You'll find out when we get there," he said, standing up. "I'll take a bath and get ready." With that, he left.
Later on, the two guys got ready and started heading out for a long day of work at the restaurant. Despite the challenges, they felt fine because they had each other's company.
How sweet.
As they arrived at the restaurant, all they could see were people's backs. "What the hell is this?" Yonghon exclaimed, looking at Jooha. "I told you, buddy," Jooha patted the other's shoulder. They went around to the back of the place and entered through the staff door.
"Hyung, save my ass!" Cog cried out, hugging Jooha. "There, young man, there," jooha said, holding him. "Just for the love of Mara, what did the twins add to this year's menu that caused all these crowds?" jooha asked, scratching his head. "A lot of items, hyung! Like 12," cog said, pointing at the menu. Jooha let out a sigh and went to the storage closet. "Looks like it's going to be a long day, gentlemen. Get your fists ready for hard work."
Hours flew by, and customers kept coming nonstop. Everyone worked tirelessly, giving their best until the end of the shift.
21:30:-------------------------------------------
"Ughhhhhh, I can't feel my back," Cog exclaimed. "Good work, everyone. Let's have dinner!" Yun-Yun yelled from the kitchen. "Oh, yes, that'll be great. I'm starving," Yonghon said. "Good. Then shall I..." The phone rang, Jooha took his phone. "It's Lee-Su," he thought. "Guys, I'll take this call," he said as he picked up.
"Hey, Lee-Su, what's up, buddy?" he said.
"Hey, Jooha," Lee-Su barely spoke.
"Oh my god! Lee-Su, are you okay? Your voice doesn't sound good."
"Talk about a day-night shift. I'm still alive, somehow," Lee-Su tiredly giggled
"Guess both of us had a hard day at work, huh? Would you hold on a sec?" Jooha put his phone away from his ear. "Cog, bring me a cigarette," he shouted.
"Here, hyung. That's your cigarette," Cog said, going out to the balcony. He lit it and then returned to his call.
"Lee-Su? Are you still alive?
I wish I wasn't. Oh man!!, can you please bring me dinner on your way back?"
"Yeah, sure thing. We'll meet at the entrance of Al-Manara."
"Yeah"
"I'll see you then." Jooha hung up.
As Jooha ended the call, Yonghon went to call him for dinner. "Jooha, Cog, dinner is ready. Come on in," Yonghon said. "Yeah, we're coming," Jooha replied.
Everyone enjoyed their meal, having fun and making up for the tiring day they had. Cog interrupted the conversation with a question, "Who was that you talked to earlier, hyung?" Jooha put a piece of meat in his mouth and replied, "That was Lee-Su." Yung-Yung passed him a drink and asked, "Eh? For what reason did his majesty call you at a time like this?" Jooha chuckled and answered, "He had a day-night shift at the bar, so he wanted me to bring him dinner. I guess he didn't eat a thing." Yung-Yung sympathetically said, "Aww, poor thing. I'll make him a good lunchbox."
As they all chatted, Yonghon stood in silence, wondering about the mention of "his majesty." The words lingered in his mind throughout the mealtime.
-------------------------------------------
"We'll head out first. Take care, guys," Yonghon said as Jooha stepped out. "Oh, Yonghon, that's Lee-Su's lunchbox," Yun-Yun handed the lunchbox to him and waved goodbye.
"Here, that's Lee-Su's lunchbox," Yonghon passed the box to Jooha. "Thank you," he smiled. As they walked through the city, they continued talking, unaware that they were holding hands.
They walked hand in hand all the way to the Shun-bridge, Yonghon felt alive and filled with happiness. However, the question about why Lee-Su was referred to as "his majesty" kept lingering in his mind. Unable to contain his curiosity any longer, Yonghon mustered up the courage to ask Jooha about it.
"Jooha, I can't help but wonder why Lee-Su is called 'his majesty'," Yonghon said, his voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and unease.
Jooha paused for a moment, sensing the change in Yonghon's demeanor. He took a deep breath and decided it was time to share a part of his past. "Yonghon, both Lee-Su and I belong to royal families. We come from different worlds, but we both left our homes for personal reasons," Jooha explained gently, hoping to ease Yonghon's worries.
Yonghon's heart sank a little upon hearing Jooha's revelation. He couldn't help but feel inferior and uncertain about his place in Jooha's life. He stopped walking, causing Jooha to halt as well, turning to face him.
Seeing the unease in Yonghon's eyes, Jooha wrapped his arms around him in a warm embrace. "Yonghon, please don't let this change how you see our relationship. I love you for who you are, not because of any titles or backgrounds. You mean the world to me, and that will never change," Jooha whispered, his voice filled with sincerity and love.
Moved by Jooha's comforting words, Yonghon's unease melted away. At that moment, their love and connection transcended any doubts or insecurities. yonghon looked down at jooha and the other looked at him back he knew exactly what was about to happen, but why would he resist something he wants so badly, as they got close laying their lips against each other, melting into a kiss, full of warmth and love
The city lights shimmered around them as they stood on the Shun bridge, their embrace a symbol of the unbreakable bond they shared. In each other's arms, they found solace, acceptance. they were so in love.
