He barely acknowledged the hand trailing down his arm, nothing but her flooding through his senses, taking over his body, staking a claim over his heart and soul.
Even his mind had long abandoned him when it came to her.
He could only see her. Could only feel her as she danced, mocking him through the lyrics of the song like she always did one way or the other.
Zei's hands balled up into fists at the sight of his men gazing at her and somehow, he couldn't blame them even if he wanted to throw them all out of the room. Clapping. Cheering. Seeing her shine the brightest high above in the sky.
Only he was supposed to see her.
It took all his remaining self-control not to walk forward, pull her down the pole and tell everyone, show each and every person that she belonged to him and him only.
