I walked in inside of the company while I was surrounded by three guys wearing black suit. At this point where I looked a lot of an important person, all eyes is looking at me, with a who-is-she-look.
I am wearing my sunglasses and is wearing a pink coat paired with pink pants while wearing a transparent one-inch heels.
"Call Helia, right now." I commanded the new hired secretary that is working under me as soon as I arrived at the a floor which my office is located at the stairs. It's a loft style. And my office is renovating right now. Under my office, there's my secretary and few heads of each department. She followed it right away and called Helia who's attending the meeting for the new product.
Helia then went in inside of my office, catching her breathe.
"You should've called me earlier." She said and one by one took the papers on the table, cleaning it like she used this office for quite a long time.
I took an envelope out of my bag and put it down on the table.
"What is this?"
"Open it."
She did what I've said and her eyes widened as she was reading it one by one.
It's actually documents containing that the shares is slowly transferring to her name without informing me. I know that she did a great job managing the company in years but she should know her place.
This company isn't a simple company. This is company that holds sentimental value to my name and I can't let anyone little by little owning this without a proper agreement.
If she wants shares, she should ask me about it. I know how to return kindness and will even gave her more than what she deserve.
"And this is another." I again put down a brown envelope, containing the termination contract which I should've done long ago.
"What do you mean by this?" She asked, her voice that suddenly went up, glaring at me.
I smirked at her.
"You will still receive a backpay, bonuses and 13th month pay and I might give you something you deserve." I said, fingers on the table and sliding it in the table to check the dust.
I leaned at the table and crossed my arms.
She's speechless.
"But before I would even do that, can you please return the ones that you stole? Or else, you gotta have to return it with my lawyers?" I said calmly.
"You don't know how much effort I've put in in your father's company!" She shouted and slammed the papers at the table. Just like what I've thought.
I smiled. "I know that." And slid my forefinger at the table. "But regardless of the efforts, you shouldn't stole things that aren't yours, isn't it something we learn at pre-school?"
Her three inch heels paved the way as she passed by me and stormed out before slamming the glass door of the office.
Leaving me unnecessary speechless, I saw the head of each department, they are all looking at me, can't even move any inch and looking at the door Helia had left.
I clap my hands slowly that caught their attention as I walk down the stair.
"As you all didn't know, the company is mine. This is very unusual way of meeting me, but what can I do?"
By that words, they gasped as if they actually had no idea about that. I smiled, giving them an assurance smile.
"Helia probably duped everyone as she acted as the CEO for so long but please, from now on, refrain in talking to Helia because she doesn't belong to the company anymore." As I reached the ground, I made an eye contact in every one of them. "Once I know that you have been talking to her, I'm gonna fire you and I'll make sure you won't be able get hired in other companies. Are we clear about that?"
They all stood up, said in chorus "Yes, Miss." and bowed at me. I just shrugged off my shoulders, left the office and went to the HR floor for another task.
Mr. Chiu went in first, then I went after them. Seeing the HR Department, with nothing but a non busy department, doing make up and such, I slammed the folder I've got on the first cubicle that made them looked at me.
Without knowing me, they just stared at me. Giving me who-is-she look and what-is-she-doing look.
I didn't know that especially in the HR, they just slacking off like this while getting paid. And it's getting me pissed, it's unfair. While others are working hard to get paid somewhere, they are here, slacking off while getting paid in more than the minimum wage.
"Just so you know, I'm Hannah Lee. The new CEO and President of the L&Y Company. And everyone in here must submit me an apology letter if you done wrong and the head of the department must give it to me by 8am in the morning. If not, I don't want to but everyone must be fired." And I left just like that.
