as the army celebrated in victory. they drank some beer in victory getting drunk and lowering their guard. apathy lets the darkness take over. ill take over control once you're done dusk and im not going in the cell. the dusk gritted his teeth and took control.
jumping in the drunken crowd apathy activated devour. darkness came out from the ground and shaped like a spike the army within 10 feet radius gut pierced by the spikes and sucked out of their life force that came out from the ground. the generals of the army appeared in front of dusk. they glared at him and readies their weapons dusk then activated. sloth king gluttony each living being within 5 meter radius gets weakened severely. the monster in front of the generals shrieked covering their ears the monster took advantage of it. a great sword came out of the monsters arm and cuts off 2 out of 5 generals head. having full energy dusk was more stronger. its gonna take a lot more for him to get tired. the female general unleashed a flurry of fire dragon magic at dusk but it was no effect the armor that dusk wore resisted fire like most armor not. the female general got caught off guard and her chest got pierced by dusk's hand grabbing her heart he took it out and crushed it. the last 2 generals calls the soldiers to attack dusk they tried to over whelm dusk but he just activates devour. cleaning off the soldiers around him. the generals shouted to retreat but dusk then attacks two of them leaving them with no choice but to defend them self but the soldiers grabbed dusk and told their generals. to flee and call for back up while they slowed it down. the 2 generals and the army retreated. while one by one the soldiers wiped until the general got in the horses and ran. dusk looking back the dead bodies around him. dusk quickly devours them and heads back leaving only blood trails and the stench of blood and meat in him.
damn it! they escaped! dusk shouted in anger.
ill go back in control now dusk. he agreed with a glare.
apathy cleaned himself and went back in the cave the child was sleeping peacefully.

after giving the child food apathy walked out side and sat looking in the dark sky thinking about what had he all done. the sea of guilt stands upon apathy's back the burden slowly getting more as time goes on.

the morning came and apathy called the child so they could head to gantaro kingdom since the carriages headed that way. apathy putted on the cloak to hide his face and armor as well as eliza.
meanwhile on duke lara and anna's place
they have just arrived in the gantanro kingdom their king headed to the castle and duke lara and anna sat in a inn calming lara down.
lara was crying in the bed for losing her parents and her child missing the kingdoms destruction in one night . the atmosphere of the inn was gloomy

apathy walked on the road and outside the wall. he went straight back to the azrael's fallen kingdom to wait if delemoire soldiers heads back in there. his thirst of blood and flesh strengthens.
