The day is usual. The sun is shining, people are scurrying about everywhere, accompanied, as is always the case at the station, by roar and bustle. However, for Harry, this day cann't be the same. With every step, the memories become clearer, with every step the screams of that Hogwarts battle become louder.
Never before has Harry gone to school in such a depressed state. He regrets the death of those who were dear to him and hates the Dark Lord for this, although he is felling that he is no more. And the scar doesn't hurt anymore. Only the anticipation of meeting Ron, Hermione and Ginny fills him with joy.
"A little more and we'll be on the train, Andromeda," Harry says to his owl.
There he and his friends agreed to meet.
Harry rolls the cart towards the aisle to platform 9 ¾ in a better mood than a couple of minutes ago. When it is already very close, some boy on roller skates rams the cart. From the impact, the cage with the owl almost falls, but our Mr. Potter catches it. The owl hoots loudly apparently from fright. And the boy on the roller skates apologizes and moves on.
"Look, people have owls, and you told me that the parrot is too much" hears Harry behind him, but don't turn around, but straighten the cart and hurry to platform 9 ¾.
"He is probably the only one who decided on an owl" the green-eyed girl answers her friend.
"No, not alone" she says.
The girls stare in surprise at a large red-haired family with several owls.
Friends look at each other.
"Look, over there, too, with an owl" notice one another.
"And there, too" the second girl points in the opposite direction.
Friends twist their heads in all directions of the station.
" There are a lot of owls here" the green-eyed one notices.
"It must be the fashion or the tradition of these places" suggests her friend, who has brown eyes.
"They all go in the same direction" notes the first girl.
The second has a twinkle in her eyes.
"Can we follow them, and go to school on the next train? "
"Let's. Let's say that ... uh ... tickets lost. "
" Maybe they are going to some festival? " suggests a brown-eyed girl with brown hair.
"Maybe they arrange sacrifices?! " in turn assume her friend.
For a while, the girls follow the owls through the crowd, bypassing the platforms. Then they end up on the tenth and are surprised to find that the owners and their pets disappear.
"Let's go back to the ninth" the brown -haired girl decides.
But even there, their surprise does not dissipate, but grow.
"They don't stop here. They go further" the green-eyed girl says in bewilderment.
" I'm generally confused" another confesses in confusion and, grabbing her friend by the hand, takes a stranger with long silver-white hair by the elbow.
And what happened next, the girls did not even understand.
Meanwhile, the stranger looks around.
"Sorry, I misunderstood" the brown-haired girl lets go of the elbow of the girl with silver-white hair and tries to smile innocently. Her green-eyed friend does the same.
The stranger smiles back.
"It's okay, it happens" she says in a calm, soft and even some kind of unearthly voice and goes, or rather jumps on, pushing a cart piled up with strange little things in front of her.
"Such a girl is extraordinary" notes the brown-haired girl.
"Yes. By the way, it's kind of like a regular platform" her friend says.
The girls are looking around. There is a sign on top that says "Platform 9 ¾". However, they do not see her because they do not raise their heads.
"Let's take a walk here" suggests one of these friends, the one with green eyes. At least for now. In general, she is one of those people whose eyes change color. So with her they "run" from green to blue.
"Great idea! "
The girls walk along the train, looking around. They like to look at the people who are here.
Friends notice that not everyone has owls, but instead of this bird, some have other animals.
"I don't know why, but I like this place" says the owner of brown eyes.
"Me too. It may sound strange, but I really feel that all these people are somehow unusual" says the green-eyed girl.
Friends approach the part of the platform where the end of the train is visible. And also to "overtake" someone's things. They "fly" very close. The girls, without saying a word, decide to help collect them, because the owner of these things is completely alone.
"We help you" says the brown-haired girl.
"Thank you" says the girl who overturned her cart.
Her face is sad, which is probably why her smile turned out to be compressed.
"Something happened? - asks one of the two helpers, the one with green eyes. - Is there anything we can do to help you? "
"Thank you, but there is nothing you can do to help me"
Not far from the scattered things and three girls collecting them, a joyful cry is heard:
"Enie, Enie Grint! "
They turn around and see the owner of this voice. She is tall and pretty. After fixing her bangs, she walks over and starts packing things up with everyone.
"Hello! Didn't think to see you here, were you transferred to Hogwarts too? "
Our friends do not hear a conversation between two acquaintances: they stumbled upon a small cauldron, located among Eni's things. The girls understood what it was, but they could not understand why it was needed. The brown-eyed girl looks incomprehensibly at her friend, who also shrugs her shoulders incomprehensibly:
"Probably put pens there? "
Meanwhile, the other two girls continue their conversation.
"Yes, I didn't want to. It's all parents. I don't want to go there! " says Enie.
"Because of what happened there last year? " her friend is interested.
Enie nods sadly.
"I don't want to go there eithe".
Enie, a pretty girl with bangs, and two non-magical friends finished packing.
"Thank you, - thanks Grint again, - I'm Enie."
"Will" introduces herself the one with brown eyes and brown hair.
"I am Paige." her green-blue-eyed friend calls her name.
"And my name is Sabrina, - the fourth girl introduces herself and straightens her bangs again. - Where are your things?" she asks, turning to our two friends.
The girls point to their bags over their shoulders.
"Did you use a shrink spell?" Sabrina asks a little surprised.
Enie looks at Will and Paige with interest. But she and Sabrina don't yet realize that they are Muggles.
"What? " don't understand two friends.
"It's not easy" says Enie.
"Cool! And I can do a few things too. Would you like to see? " Sabrina asks, and without waiting for an answer, she takes out her magic wand. Casting a spell, she made her and Enie's belongings disappear.
Enie looks at her indignantly.
" What did you do with it? "
" I just transferred it to the railway carriage"
"What was it?" the completely discouraged Muggle girls ask at once.
There is silence.
"In terms of? " the sorceresses also ask in unison.
"It's impossible! " concludes Paige.
Enie and Sabrina look at each other. Now they perfectly understand who is in front of them, but Will and Paige don't!
Sabrina smiles slyly and says:
"You ask what it was? - and again without waiting for an answer, continues – This is magic. The real. "
"Come on! Either you are playing a trick on us, or you, pardon me, are crazy! " says Paige.
"No, - Sabrina replies calmly, still smiling slyly, - Enie and I are really sorceresses, like all the people around who are here" she straightens her bangs.
" Sabrina, what are you thinking? " asks Grint.
"You will see. The most brilliant idea came to my bright head, - with a mischievous narrowing of her eyes, she answers and addresses the Muggle girls, lowering her voice, - You definitely saw how things disappeared? "
"Perhaps yes" sighing, Paige gave up and exchanged glances with Will.
"And that's great" they answer together.
"I still find it hard to believe" admits Will.
" The magical world exists, and we can tell you a lot about it" Sabrina promises.
" Not here, - Enie interrupted, - we are already looked upon with suspicion. Let's get on the train"
"Why watch something interesting here? " Will is surprised.
" Yes, - agrees Paige, - just think, there are two ordinary girls talking to ordinary girls too, though sorceresses"
" Because, - Enie whispered, - Muggles shouldn't be here!"
"Whom? " Paige and Will ask.
"Muggles aren't wizards like you" Sabrina explains.
"Let's get on the train, – Enie suggests again. –The eyes are already taking a direct direction. Sabrina, did you have something to offer? "
The four, walking on the train, look into all the compartments.
" Great! You lost our luggage!" Eni laments.
" I didn't lose, – protests Sabrina. –Sorry to disturb you" she says to the children whose compartment she looked into.
" So even where? " Grint persists.
" Somewhere here, - the second sorceress answers, opening another compartment, - Sorry!
Paige and Will are in the best mood imaginable. They walk along the carriage and think that all these children are magicians!
"I found it, it's here," says the one who was responsible for the loss of luggage.
"Finally! " says Enie and after her disappears into the compartment.
"There's nobody here right now, - Sabrina states, having entered the compartment first. - And since this is my proposal, - she says, - you, Paige and Will, will go to wizard school instead of Enie and me."
"You probably already guessed, - Grint says to the Muggles, - that this express train takes children to the school of witchcraft and wizardry. This is a boarding school. "
Will and Paige look at each other thoughtfully.
"Agree!," Sabrina says to them.
"Why don't you want to go there?" Will asks, with sarcasm.
"But in general, - Sabrina begins to explain, - I have always studied as an external student. My parents had such a job that we moved from place to place. Now they decided to settle down and thought that I would be better at school. "
"Nobody knows Sabrina and me at this school," Enie says.
"In this one? Are there others? " Page wonders.
The magical girls nod. Paige and Will look at each other and regret appears on their faces.
"We'd love to…" Paige begins.
"But we can't, - Will continues, - what are we going to tell our parents? "
"Where are you going to take us?" Enie asks Sabrina.
"We will go to my Aunt Madoline, - Sabrina begins to outline her plan, - and she will teach us such things that the school curriculum never dreamed of. And you girls, - the young sorceress addresses the Muggles, - don't worry about your parents. Just give us your addresses and my aunt will take care of them: with the help of a spell, your parents will think that you are studying, let's say, somewhere abroad. "
"With what?" Paige asks.
"A spell," Sabrina replies.
"It sounds doubtful, - Will says. - And in general, that everything is in order with our parents and with us. Do not be offended, but we do not know you, suddenly you have something bad in mind. "
"No, no! - Enie assures them. - I assure you the spell we use is harmless. "
"Well, let's take our word for it," Paige says.
The Muggle girls look at each other and smile and say:
"We agree! "
