Slice!
A sword cut through a flying insect, green blood splattering as the two halves were thrown to the ground.
The man who had cut it down followed his swing, stepping forward and cutting through leaping bug. A massive cockroach that had jumped towards him in an attempt on assault.
"Boss! That was the last one around here!" The man shouted out, turning his head over his shoulder.
In the center of the room, a woman squatted down before a pool of water. Her long sword was sheathed on her back, and one of her fingers was outstretched towards the ground.
It touched the rubble, fitting into a groove on the dusty floor.
A finger imprint.
There were five of them, and they seemed to have originated from the water, as if someone had crawled their way out.
"Someone was here. I don't know if it was them... But this is sign of other people entering this dungeon. It's a new one, so if there are others, perhaps we might have some more rescuing to do..."
...
...
...
His ghostly figure touched down on the stone floor. His legs moved one after another, strutting next to the party which needed to be rescued.
He didn't expect two groups to come from the same world. Although this new party didn't emerge through the same gate that the first adventurers came through, they still hailed from the same world.
He skipped forward, dodging sparks of metal and intently watching as swords clanked and arrows flew.
Riley stood in the back, casting spells and Lucas and the girl which had now adopted the name of Raven, led the party in attacking.
Maya shot arrows from in front of Riley, as Leah and Faye casted support spells.
Currently, the party was locked in an intense battle. On their journey, Raven seemed to be procuring more power, and if she hadn't...
They were surely be dead right now.
They were currently fighting a group of undead, lorded by a powerful entity.
[True Undead, Ilin, Level 22 Mini-Boss]
[Observation: A creature living in death. It has infinite stamina and has little to no senses, barely being able to see, hear, smell, taste, or feel. As a real undead, it's death is a new form of life. Beware of it's speedy regeneration, and unconstrained muscular prowess.]
'Phew... Weaker than the last boss.' Raven internally sighed.
With blooming expertise, she weaved through the weaker undead, chopping up two of them.
She left the rest of the subordinates to her party members, focusing on the True Undead herself.
"You're strong." The undead spoke. It was a woman this time, with a slim waist, large behind, but a rather flat chest.
She was missing her left arm, it clearly being torn off below the elbow.
But that didn't seem to be much of a hindrance.
Raven swung her energy sword forward, attempting slice through the undead horizontally.
But, as if this was the matrix, she leant backwards, dodging the sword and kicking Raven's arm upwards.
Following this backwards somersault was a forward pounce.
Raven leapt to the side, the undead's right hand clawing away at some of the skin on her arm.
"Tch!" She scoffed.
The sword in her hand changed forms, becoming a glowing hammer.
Boom! Crack!
It was swung down towards the undead with an incredible speed, cracking open the zombie's skull.
"Damn, you bitch!" The undead cried, falling down to the ground.
Haggardly, it tried to push itself back up. Unfortunately, it wasn't so simple.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Repetive bangs resounded, the energy hammer shattering all the muscle and bone in the undead's torso.
Then!
Slice!
The head rolled away, Raven becoming an unrelenting sword demon as she chopped off the rest of the body's limbs in quick succession.
With a small tinge of exhaustion, she wiped the sweat off her head, looking up towards her companions.
Faye fell on her butt, puffing away the real exhaustion she faced.
Lucas flicked his sword out of habit, sending the nonexistent blood flying to the ground.
All the other exhaled, having finished of their portion of the fight. They turned to look towards the girl that found them in this dungeon, surprise and pride on their faces.
They had associated themselves with someone truly powerful!

A man meditated atop rocks, peacefully sitting within the large cave room.
Portions of this rooms floor had puddles of water, stemming from the dripping stalactites above.
Lust, stood in one of these puddles, pitter pattering at the water with his toes.
With a hand on his hip, and the other scratching his head, he thought deeply.

"All these points... I don't have any fear regarding these intruders. Let's continue with the expansions!" He smiled devilishly.
"D!" With his smile still equipped, pushed himself towards the meditating Daoist. Plant roots extended from his back, carrying him into the air and towards the humble man.
"Daolord." He replied, eyes still closed.
There was a glimmer in Lust's eyes as he looked at the creature before him.
[Fallen Daoist "D", Level 49]
To previously purchase this Daoist, Lust had to spend hundreds of DP. It was an investment for the future, and it was clearly paying off.
From what he had seen in the system, and just the inferences he could make... Ranks were a big deal!
"Let's push you into the second rank before you have to face all these intruders... Raven's risen to level 21, and the rescue party leader is level 29... I have full confidence in your power but... just to be safe, you know?" He smiled.
Floating before the man, he lifted the Daoist's head, watching as he slowly opened his eyes.
"I understand Daolord. Grant me power. I've been anticipating my re-entrance into the next realm."
Two smiles erupted, both of them matching their auras as energies started to emit.
The Daoist's robe slid off, and Lust's lips interlocked with his.
The upcoming battle would be interesting, to say the least."
