"Looking inside, I saw my one and only third brother talking and laughing with his group of friends and they stopped immediately they saw me standing in the hallway like a lost kid. Well I was lost but I'm not a kid as they think I am (Talking about my brothers). I think I owe you guys an explanation, let's get into it then."
My name is Darian Finnerty. Well I was, now I'm 'Darian Black' the youngest out of all the Black siblings and the long lost daughter/ illegitimate daughter. You may be wondering why I labeled myself as illegitimate, it so happened that my mom had an affair with Mr. Black who is also my father and she didn't know he was married and he has two kids and the third one on the way. That's a story for another day."
"As we embarked on an unintentional staring contest I heard the clearing of throat behind me, jumping a little I turned and saw it was a man who looks like a teacher, oh shoot! I forgot I was late.
Following him into the class, I saw all eyes were on me and that is not what I want on my first day of school but I still got it. 'Sighs in shame'
"Hmph.. Hmph.. hmph.. Class listen. We have a new student joining us today." The teacher said and turning to me, he continued.. "Introduce yourself."
"Oh well, here goes nothing. Hello all, My name is Darian Black." Everyone started murmuring immediately I said my name,it happens every time I'm used to it. "Yes." I continued. " I'm the sister to Matthew Black and all the other Black siblings in this school but don't give me special treatment because of that, take me for who I am. Thank you.
"Alright, you can go sit with Amanda over there." He said pointing at a really beautiful dark skin girl with a lot of curly hair.
"Okay sir."
Soon he started teaching, I found out he was the Biology teacher. Cool
MINUTES LATER...
"Okay class, Make sure to read on the Respiratory system so when next I come we could talk about it and maybe do some additional marks quiz. See you in our next class. Goodbye." He finished walking out of the class.
"Finally!." Amanda said from beside me making me turn to look at her.
"Hi, I'm Amanda Williams. the one and only. I'm the class president and the president of the book club and if you want to know about anything regarding the school and maybe the students, you can meet me."
"Okay. You already know my name and status so there's no need for introductions."
"Oh no need about that. Everyone here already knew who you were even before you came because your brother over there has threatened to deal with anyone who disturbs his sister."
"Really?!, he did that?." I asked surprised
"Yup."
"He's so crazy." I muttered in disbelief. "I get him for doing that, I also have brothers and they are SUPER POSSESSIVE of me and it's so annoying... "I know right." I said interrupting her.
"Yeah, but that's how they show their love. so I understand why Matt did that. Also, you don't have anything to worry about everyone will love you."
"You think so?"
"Of course. Take a look at me, I already do and very soon everybody will.
"You are really fun and cool to talk to. And I really like your hair it's so curly and full." I said looking at her hair.
"Why thank you, I'm mixed so it's one of the perks I enjoy. I'm half Nigerian, half British. My mum's from Nigeria actually. Oh I'm I scaring you because of the too much information I'm giving?, I don't actually do this. I tend to speak much when I'm nervous or excited and I'm not nervous now so that'll mean I'm excited and that's weird because I've imagined talking to you over the weeks and I didn't see myself being this excited and I...
" Amanda, Amanda.. Calm down!" I said holding her shoulders
" I'm sorry about that." she said taking deep breaths.
"I understand."
"So all I'm trying to say is can we be friends?" She said giving me puppy doe eyes
"Uhm!, I thought we were already friends since I sat down here."
"Oh wow, you really are sweet." She said smiling brightly
"I know, I know." I said flipping my hair
"I love you." she said hugging me tightly
"Manda, I can't breathe."
"Wow, you already have a nickname for me. How blessed I am Heavens.
"You are like my best friend, Catherine and I'm sure you guys are going to click once you meet."
"Oh I can't wait to see her." She said excitedly.
