On the morning of August 31st, Kai wakes up in his room, the first rays of sunlight filtering through the curtains. With a sense of purpose, he rises from his bed and begins his daily routine.
After brushing his teeth, Kai catches a glimpse of himself in the mirror and feels a surge of curiosity about his progress. "It's been quite a lot of days since I last checked my stats," he murmurs to himself.

After a moment of consideration, he decides to upgrade his Spirit Veins to increase his spiritual energy gathering pace.
"System," Kai calls out, summoning the interface.
"Good morning, Kai," the System greets him. "How can I be of help to you?"
Kai raises an eyebrow. "Why are you talking like that? Did you go haywire or something?"
The System bristles slightly. "No! I thought I should try to improve my communication with you."
Kai chuckles. "Just stay the way you are."
The System sighs. "Fine. What did you call me for?"
"I want to upgrade my Spirit Veins," Kai replies. "To Azure Vein."
The System nods. "Alright. The upgrade will cost you 60 stat points."
Kai hesitates for a moment, considering the expense. "Even though it's the second time I've seen this window, it still feels like a lot of points."
The System frowns. "Listen, Kai. Upgrading your Spirit Veins is a significant advancement. Your world hasn't even discovered them yet."
Kai nods, understanding the significance. "Alright, let's do it."
As Kai confirms the upgrade, he feels a subtle shift within him. The upgrade is complete, and he now possesses Azure Veins.
Feeling a sense of satisfaction, Kai turns his attention to his remaining stat points. "I want to invest the rest of my points into stats," he tells the System.
The System complies, and Kai watches as his intellect, luck, and charm increase by 10 points each.
"Is there anything else you need?" the System asks.
Kai is about to respond when a loud knock interrupts him. His younger sister's voice echoes through the door, urging him to hurry up.
"I'll talk to you later," Kai says to the System, closing his status window.
As he steps out of his room, Kai prepares himself for another day at school, his mind buzzing with anticipation for the adventures that lay ahead.
