As he reaches for the handle, a distinct knock interrupts his thoughts. Kai opens the door to find Akane standing there, a sense of purpose in her eyes.
"Hey, Kai. I come to call you for our practice with Master Liang," she announces.
Grinning, Kai replies, "I was just about to head out. Perfect timing." The duo makes their way to Master Liang's training grounds, exchanging greetings with the seasoned martial arts instructor.
"Good Afternoon, Sir," Kai greets respectfully.
"Good Afternoon," Master Liang replies. "Have you completed your warm-up?"
Kai shakes his head, and Master Liang advises, "First, go and complete the warm-up, and then we'll continue."
Following Master Liang's guidance, Kai and Akane diligently warm up, preparing their bodies for the intense training ahead.
After a thorough warm-up, they face Master Liang, ready for instruction.
"Kai, focus on stance and swing training," Master Liang directs. Meanwhile, he engages in a spar with Akane, who wields twin wooden swords while Master Liang uses a single wooden sword.
Kai diligently follows his mentor's instructions, absorbing every detail of the session.

"Good Afternoon," replies Master Alden, his eyes twinkling with amusement at Kai's excitement.
"So, shall we make some pills today?"
Kai's face lights up with eagerness. "Yes, sir! I want to make Spirit-Gathering Pills!"
Master Alden chuckles. "Impatient, aren't we? But I like the enthusiasm. Let's get started. Do you remember the materials required?"
"Yes, sir. Spiritual Essence Seed, Essence-Blossom Petals, and Tranquil Mist Droplets," Kai recites confidently.
"Correct!" Master Alden conjures the materials effortlessly, leaving Kai in awe of his mentor's mastery. "I've brought you enough materials for ten attempts. Now, let's see how you fare."
With a focused mindset, Kai begins the process of crafting Spirit-Gathering Pills. Each step is executed with precision and concentration.
