The next day, Sunday, began with Kai waking up to an aching body. Despite the soreness, he carried on with his morning routine, albeit at a slower pace.
After a satisfying breakfast, Kai retreated to his room, planning to relax before resuming his training.
However, his plans were interrupted by a phone call from Ethan.
"Ethan, here. We've decided to take a break today and do something fun," Ethan exclaimed excitedly.
"You've got only 30 minutes to reach the park. Hurry up!"
Kai found himself unable to speak as Ethan quickly ended their conversation. Leaving no room for disagreement.
With frustration boiling up inside him alongside growing curiosity.
Kai rushed through his preparations understanding there were 20 minutes left for him only until he reached his destination the park.
Although not entirely sure about it. He couldn't help but consider if there was an ulterior motive behind why Ethan didn't let him speak out freely.
Rushing through the streets, Kai finally arrived at the designated meeting spot.
To his surprise, not just his group, but all of their friends from the combat department were gathered there.
Kai immediately approached Ethan, hooking his arm around his friend's neck, and said, "Hey, why didn't you tell me everyone from the combat department was coming? And what's with the last-minute plan?"
Ethan, wearing a sheepish smile, replied, "Oh, sorry about that. But, I never said it was just our group. I said 'all' are coming. It was your assumption."
Kai tightened his grip playfully, giving Ethan a teasing look, and then released him.
They both joined the rest of the group, where Emily eagerly asked, "So, what's the plan now? What are we going to do first?"
Confused, Kai turned to Ethan and said, "You didn't even think of where to go?"
Ethan chuckled and replied, "Aoi suggested the idea, which came from Leon."
Leon chimed in, "It was my suggestion, but I didn't realize they hadn't thought it through."
Kai turned to face everyone and suggested, "How about going to a Water Park? It's not too far from here, and with the scorching heat, it'll be a refreshing choice."
Rachel raised a concern, saying, "But we didn't bring our swimsuits."
Jackson interjected, "No worries. The water park has rental swimwear available. We can borrow from there."
Alex and Michael supported the suggestion, and after a brief discussion, the group agreed to go to the Water Park.
Upon arrival, they purchased their tickets and rented swimwear.
The girls headed to the changing booths, while the boys went to their designated area.
As Michael mischievously contemplated sneaking into the girls' changing area, Alex noticed his intentions and promptly alerted the other boys.
Kai, Ethan, Leon, Jackson, and Alex intercepted Michael, lifted him off the ground, and brought him back to the boys' changing area.
Once everyone had changed into their swimwear, they spent the afternoon playing and having a blast at the Water Park.
Laughter echoed through the slides, pools, and splash zones as they enjoyed the various attractions.
The warm weather and the joy of being with friends created unforgettable memories.
As the sun began to set, signaling the end of their day of fun, the group bid farewell to the Water Park.
They waved at each other, promising to meet again at school the following day.
With tired yet content smiles, they dispersed, heading home in their separate directions.
