Chapter 123: A job as bodyguard
The goblin was confused since there seemed to be no one in the area. It was completely empty; the only things present were some fleas and grasses – nothing else.
In fact, it was a garden combined with various flowers, rocks, and a pool. It was designed so that any climber who arrived could enjoy a pleasant view. So, Luke's statement left the goblin bewildered as he stared at him intently.
Luke, not receiving any answer, had already left through the portal and reached the mentioned place.
There were a few maids waiting in front of the portal, a total of five of them, all sitting on the provided chairs nearby.
"I want to go home…" cried one of the maids, looking at the clock which showed 6 in the evening.
The other maid, sitting right next to her, said, "Just two more hours and we are free. Bear with it…"
She patted her friend's back, reassuring her that she only had to endure a little longer.
