Chapter 124: The hunt
'A mage, eh?' Luke realized that Merline had at least some abilities to back up her wit. The explosion occurred at the innermost region of the cave and hence didn't have much effect on the entrance of the cave, with the exception of debris collecting on the outside which Luke and Merline had to remove. Then they entered the cave, walking towards the area where the explosion had occurred.
There were many dead bodies lying around. All that Merline had to do was slit their bodies open and collect the crystals. However, she never got the chance to do it immediately as the moment she approached them, she noticed that the small cave she thought she was in was actually connected to a much larger one.
