Why?
The Seed of Beastification is obtained from a fruit that grows on the everlasting tree in the Beast Realm.
Apparently, when the Beastmen come to their age, that is, become adults, they are given one fruit each from the tree.
It enables them to transform and gain their beast form. Of course, previously, they would be human-like.
The seed would work on any living being - whether it be an angel, demon or even a vampire. It could bring out a beast that slumbers within them and that is why it is dangerous.
If not controlled properly, it could result in the creation of a mindless beast - a monster.
It's quite difficult to get the seeds, especially, outside the Beast Realm.
