Shu XinYi was debating whether he should proceed to the cave, that was surrounded by many beasts along with the unknown dark energy, or wait for a clearing, when he heard something rustling behind them. Both LiuQian and Shu XinYi looked back, but apart of a few trees they saw nothing.
Shu XinYi didn't turn back around but instead landed in the spot where the rustling noises came from. After dismounting the sword, Shu XinYi was about to speak when he heard a hushed voice say from somewhere nearby, "You should probably not talk here. The beasts in front of you have no control over themselves, they are being controlled to kill on command. Follow me, we should go to some place safe."
