“What have you done?”
At the question, Owen only turned to find them standing past the destroyed cloth curtain chamber of the bride. He saw the blood where the fight took place and the things that were blown away by the wind. However, he only looked back at Milan and combed through the bride’s hair again.
“He’s hurt.” That was all Owen said.
Melba would say something to vent her anger, but she noticed how pale Milan had grown. When she saw blood dripping from the side of Milan’s head, she gasped and ran off to the side to rummage her supplies for a first aid kit. She would scold the nephew if she had to later; the bride needed her first.
“Holy shit, what happened here?” Boris broke out of his trance and checked up on the victim. Then again, seeing how blood also painted Owen’s hands, Boris frowned at the nephew. “Owen, did you know what attacked the Divine Bride?”
