In the last two years of the plan, Xavier's contemplation deepens as, at that time, Destiny's preparations will reach their zenith. It will be a time of full mobilization, a crescendo of carefully orchestrated actions that will culminate in the realization of a world-altering dream.
With the world still oblivious to our true intentions, Destiny will move with a sense of purpose that transcends mere readiness. Soldiers, agents, and assets will be brought to the forefront, their roles defined, and their commitment unwavering.
Destiny's presence, at this point, will extend across the planet and into the vastness of the solar system. Earth and its orbit will become our theater of operations, as we harness the power and reach of our meticulously built forces.
Xavier's thoughts turn introspective as the weight of responsibility bears down upon him. In the end, it will all be a means to an end, a choreographed sequence of events designed to bring his vision to fruition. He knows that the path he has chosen is fraught with peril, and he is prepared to see the world transformed, even if it means it will burn to ashes and be reborn anew.
"Aaaaaa, what a chore," Xavier yells, his frustration echoing in the secrecy of his thoughts.
Evelyn, walking next to Xavier, glanced at him and asked, "Are you okay?"
Xavier, with a deep sigh, responded, "I'm alright. I'm just lost in thought."
Evelyn's eyes, framed by the pitch-black of her power armor's visor, held a mixture of concern and understanding. She knew the weight that rested on Xavier's shoulders, the burden of orchestrating a plan that would change everything.
"We're approaching the final phase," Evelyn said, her voice carrying the weight of their shared mission. "The world remains oblivious, and our resolve must be unwavering. But even in the midst of all this, remember why we're doing it."
Xavier nodded, his gaze fixed on the distant horizon. "I know, Evelyn. It's just...sometimes I wonder if this path we've chosen is the right one."
Evelyn placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder, her grip firm through the power armor. "Doubt is natural, Xavier. But remember our vision, a world free from the shackles of division and oppression. We've worked tirelessly for this, and we're so close now."
Xavier and Evelyn continued chatting as they made their way to the hangar bay.
Xavier asked Evelyn, "Do you know the definition of art?"
Evelyn responded, "Really, art is about the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination."
Xavier chuckled, "That's just the dictionary definition. It doesn't really summarize what art truly means. To me, art is in everything. It's in nature as well as our culture. Art must have beauty, it must invoke a feeling, and it need not have justification for its own existence. Art is in nature because nature has beauty and the folks curiosity and wonder and thus it is art this need not have justification for its existence. Art is in our culture because we create things to be pleasing, to invoke feeling, curiosity, and wonder, if not for others, then for ourselves. In the end, it is our nature to create, as much as it is in our nature to destroy, and that, in itself, is an art the art of creation and destruction of death and rebirth. Like all art, it need not have justification for its own existence. It is beautiful because someone thinks it is beautiful, thus it is art."
Evelyn looked at Xavier, her curiosity piqued. "Why are you telling me this?"
Xavier smiled, his eyes gleaming with a certain intensity. "Because that's what we're doing, isn't it? It's art, an intricate tapestry of plots and counterplots, schemes and counter schemes we have perfected the art. Evelyn, this is the art of conquest and the art of war, and it sets my heart ablaze."
As Xavier and Evelyn entered the hangar bay, their shared determination filled the air. Lost in contemplation, Evelyn nodded in agreement with a silent understanding of the mission ahead.
Before boarding the shuttle bound for Earth, Xavier gave Evelyn a reassuring hug, his way of wishing her good luck on her mission. As he stepped into the shuttle and departed for Earth, his thoughts once again drifted to Florithey, the enigmatic presence who had captured his mind.
