Chapter 3 - 03

Even though fright ran through my veins, I felt a sense of security around this strange man. A forgotten feeling started within me as I buried myself into his back, looking for safety.

Adjusting myself, I cautiously unwrapped my hands from his waist, taking off my helmet. A nice cold breeze hit my face, causing my hair to sway behind me. I felt liberated.

I let out a loud scream followed but laughter from the driver.

"Hand on tight, my tesoruccio," he screamed, his tone matching mine.

Chuckled as my helmet found its way back to my head. My hands once again making their way to his waist, enjoying the ride ahead.

My eyes landed on a massive lake as we came to a halt. Getting off, I quietly eyed the man seated in the driver's seat, who took off his helmet. Running his hand through his hair, he let a breathless sigh, making his way toward the lake.

My gaze quickly turned to the side, noticing his next move.

"What are you doing," I practically yelled.

"I am I supposed to swim with clothes one," he replied sarcastically.

"What do you mean swimming, your basically skinny dipping," I murmured but suddenly flushed, processing the words that exited his mouth.

"You should try skinny dipping," he replied, splashing into the water. "It helps liberate your mind."

Turning my eyes back to the lake, I let out a breath of reassurance spotting his body in the lake. Inching near the lake, I sat near the border, enjoying the cool and refreshing weather of the night.

"You should get in," he yelled, swimming to me.

"Watching you is plenty of fun," I replied, fixing my dress when a sudden wave of water hit me.

In the hopes of getting the water off, I stood up, brushing off my dress. I looked at the culprit when another wave of water hit me, causing me to turn, my back facing the lake, when I suddenly stumbled back on a rock.

Landing into the body of water, I swam back to the surface, taking a deep breath.

"Are you okay, princess," he asked in a worried tone, as his facial expression stated otherwise, ready to burst out into laughter.

A look of defeat appeared on my face at the thought of my ruined dress. This dress was a limited edition, and today was the first time I wore it, and it was probably the last.

"What's your name," I asked, earning a surprised look from the man.

"Raffaele," he replied.

"Raffaele."

"What's yours, princessa," asked Raffaele, swimming around, enjoying the moment.

"Izel," replied, I replied.

"Izel," he repeated, his Italian accent overpowering his words. May I say my name had never sounded so heavenly. His words sounded like music to my ears.

"Aren't you scared, Izel," Raffaele abruptly asked, causing the air to become eerie.

Making his way to me, his deeming and dominating aura made its presence known.

"What if I did something bad to you," he added, softly whispering at the end of his sentence, his words filled with an inexplicable tone.

Shills were running down my spine. I opened my mouth to answer, but no sound left my mouth. My sudden bad girl attitude from earlier had somehow disappeared, and now I felt like prey being preyed on by a predator.
