I tightened my small bag to waist in order to keep it safe because it was full of my savings. I wandered round the village looking for someone to engage with but none of them looked interesting, they all seem to be around their own business and not others business.
I decided to catch attention, so I looked for something to do to make them look my way. An idea came up to me and I took it immediately. I walked to a place that looked like the center of the village and took out the sword with me and cut myself and immediately tucked the sword away.
" ouch!." I screamed in pain with the idea of getting attention.
"what happened to her?."
" who is she?. "
" she looks hurt ."
I heard whispers and of course I was hurt, what a stupid statement. A middle aged woman approached me and took me to a nearby tree. she sat me down and looked at the wound. " What happened to you?." she asked and oh why was she asking questions, I felt like screaming with all the embarrassment at hand.
"I'm new here and I accidentally scratched my leg somewhere around, please can I get somewhere to stay?." I said and rallied my face into a puppy type.
" oh, welcome to Deli town and sorry about the scratch, I can take you to my house for treatment and then you'll know what next to do." She answered with a cute smile and helped me get up and walked me through the village until we got to beautiful building which looks like where wealthy people stay and oh I seem to fall into the hands of another wealth.
" This is my house ." The lady said releasing me from my thoughts.
" Do you live all by yourself?." I tend to ask but kept it all to myself. We went into the house and into a huge living room where she sat me and immediately left to get treatment for the injury.
As the lady was away, I saw a young girl, probably around my age coming in and then I knew the answer to my question.
" Who are you and why are you here? " she asked with the sweetest voice have ever heard.
" She is a gentle girl I tend to help this time. " the lady answered coming in with her gorgeous smile and what did she mean by- this time .
" oh, okay." the young girl said reluctantly and left. Who was she and why did the lady say this time ?.
" That's my only daughter and I only bring people here to be maids or servants that was why I said this time ." she Said as if reading my mind .
" Yes, I read your mind and I read minds. " that left me struck - founded , I was both stunned and dumbfounded, surprised by what she said.
" Don't be too surprised. By the way, my name is Rita, you can call me aunt Rita." she said as she cleaned my wound.
" oh...o..oh, aunt Rita ." I said still stunned.
" maybe I should tell her all my plans and how I got here since she can read minds " I thought before I realised she could actually know what I was thinking.
" I know that you hurt yourself to get attention too so I gave it to you ." she said and I completely froze on the spot.
