NOTE: REREAD THE WHOLE SERIES. THERE ARE PERMANANT CHANGES IN THE PREVIOUS CHAPTERS.
Right before the fight started, I realized that my arm was still broken, so I decided to call it off. After the physical tests (I somehow got the highest marks despite the arm), we had wRiTtEN eXAmS. I hoped this would be easy, which it genuinely was.
The Teacher gave us the exam packet. The packet was 5 pages long, and that's when I realized it was just a test to see how good you are at combat theory and things about the Combat God's techniques. Too easy. While thinking about this, I finished the test, double-checked it, and turned it in. Yes, 3 minutes of my life wasted. Somehow, I noticed that something's off with Kao. Back to the main subject, I had to wait 55 more minutes until the results came out. I came out number 1, so I ended up wondering if I'll end up passing Kao in the system ranking (I later found out that the ranking is decided on the capture rate, which Kao has a 98% rate, where I don't even have one, the only reason why my alt is ranked #3 is because of the skills test and accuracy rate, which also contributes to the rankings).
That night, I did my research on Kao. First, Daia told me about some of his traumatic battles against Kao, where he lost every single time within 30 seconds. After 5 minutes of searching the school software on Kao's history (Daia, Brian and Max were shocked because it usually would take 1 hour to find student history), I started writing down a report. Kao has an older brother, and both of Kao's parents are half-Japanese, half-English. Both of them were nobles (Dukes), but were killed in combat. Since they were friends of the King of England, the King and Queen of England adopted them, for they don't have kids and they're too old to have any right now, meaning Kao and her older brother are (technically) part of the royal family. For some reason, she speaks American English, because she's more used to it. Also, people noted that Kao never speaks to anyone, despite her bishojo appearance. Also, everyone that flirted with her ended up in the hospital, at least once.
After finishing up the report (I did it for filler homework), it was midnight, and everyone else was asleep, when someone randomly starts ringing the doorbell. I know well enough to ignore it, since normal people would just go away after a few minutes of no response. Instead, the doorbell ringing intensifies, and eventually the knocking starts. I didn't want to wake the other 3 up, so I opened the door.
It was Kao. We were both silent for 5 seconds straight. I thought I was in trouble, until: "Oh, it's just Kao. Yay."
That's enough to make Kao rage.
