" being sadated,feels like I have been through this before don't you agree mercury?" Primus voice ehcos in a distance through out the dark space surrounding himself.
A small light shines in a distance slowly growing brighter, emmitting warmth from it as it shines upon Primus.
He smiles looking at the light and reaches out to it, opening his eyes he sees that he is in a tube that's is in a room with other tubes lined up side by side.
Submerged in a embiotic fluid, Primus looks around his environment to try and make sense of his current situation, coming to the realization that he is in a new body.
No less the body is that of an infant of about 9 months old, however this body seems to steadily grow with the passing of an hour maturaring by month in that time space.
The door to the room opens Primus looks at the door to see who is walking through it, but because of the liquid and his being underdeveloped he cannot make out what the person looked like.
Feeling exhausted he let's his body drift into a deep slumber, as he returns to the dark space he can hear a beeping of a heart monitor machine he attempts to focus on the sound.
Whilst heading towards the sound he bumps into mercury or rather his consiousness then proceeding to tap him on the head, causing mercury to fade out of the dark space.
Waking up in a room mercury realizes that is still in the hospital , he gets up from the bed disconnecting the apparatus attached to his body, this causes a loud long beep sound to be made.
Alerting the those within hearing range and the first to rush in is the doctor who performed the cell extraction from mercury"s brain, upon seeing the paiteint has made a complete recovery and is fully awake, the doctor is amazed at his speedy recovery as they look in awe.
Mercury looks at the doctor bewildered by the gaze directed at him "is there something wrong, doctor?".
The doctor snaps back as he clears his throat "(hurrggg) no I'm just astonished at how quick you've recovered, it should be a new galatic record!".
Mercury stops the doctor from speaking any further by asking where the three people who came with him are "please stop with the flattery, more importantly where are the three who I was with earlier?".
The doctor replies " oh my don't get worked up, one of them is just outside this room the other two are attending to the cloning procedure, by the way your clone will be ready in about a weeks time".
As the doctor walks out of the room he signals for the person who is waiting outside the room before stopping at the entrance and turning around.
"Looks like the hospital won't charge for extra admittance fees this time" he says cheerfully as he then leaves the room
The person who was Waiting outside walks in through the door slowly and stops after entering the room, it's sheena, stares at mercury and laments " that's a quick recovery for an organic lifeform, you were joking about your cells regeneration ability being so potent, it seems that the energy core was hampering your body keeping it from fully healing up,".
She then proceed to question him" Iwonder why you would put something so harmful in your chest?".
Mercury answers "I don't really remember if I did have it placed there , but maybe Primus would know I remember him always trying to defeat me in the past perhaps he put it there (hmmm) now that I think about he had the motive to do so but he lacked the resources and skill or even time to do so as he was constantly on the run any way let's just ask him when he wakes up".
Sheena looks at mercury for while then responds " seems you have a lot of things to work out I can advise you to stop looking into the past and focus on the present and look forward to a bright future, that's what I was told when I became andriod by the ruler of mechanicia".
Mercury responds with curiosity " what do you mean by became an Android?".
Just then heather walks In cheerfully as she rushes over to mercury hugging him .
" whoa looks like you made a full recovery let's go celebrate! " Pausing before she continues as she notices mercury is not interested in her charade.
She takes a step back and then turns to Sheena as he looks at the door way seeing mirai walk in she sighs .
"fine I will start explaining, the thugs who attacked were hired goons for this noble man from the empire, it's just my speculation as I received a message from him but I believe he was remotely operating the drone that killed them off as well".
She makes a frustrated expression as she lowers her head and apologies to mercury then she pulls out a diary from her coat and opens a footnote that reads
" the core was placed as a counter measure to limit Mercury's power generation however , it can seriously harm him if damaged or not maintained properly". Reinhardt Heather 2070.
She places back the diary and says " as for Primus my ancestor believed him to be anamomally, because he was really hard to pin point and kill that's all I could find in diary, I swear perhaps if you can recall you may find the answers".
Mercury responds to her bluntly
"Umm Heather i already know that about the core but more importantly the thugs, what if they are more? And could you perhaps explain more about this empire? I did learn from Dr. Hydrax that the empire has lost to earth in it's invasions but that's all I could learn at that time"
Heather looks at mercury dumbfoled as she says "Oh yes, so concerning the empire it's possible that they may try again, however concerning the what drives the current emperor to take such drastic actions is pure madness".
She turns around walks to the door and then turns back facing mercury and asks" will you aid the Earth....no will you aid the galatic federation against the empire?" .
Her directed question at mercury makes him think deeply about it, and he responds with confidence.
" I was planning on investigating the Terra 2, but with this empire scheme I can handle it besides I have nothing left to lose and I'm sure Primus will need something to do once his new body is fully grown" mercury gets up from the bed and stands on his feet.
Sheena interjects "you have your war games but leave mirai out of it I think she has done enough already" as Sheena proclaims this mirai who was standing just outside the room listening in on the conversation, walks in with excitement.
"Count me in, madam Heather and Mr mercury" she boldly declares with a smile on her face expressing her joy.
Sheena just covers her own face with both of her hands in embarrassment.
Walking in the room as the excitement of mirai reaches it's peak, the other members of the S.C.S look on at their captain and at once they relauctantly aggree with their captain.
In the incubation room a figure inside lab coat is heard by Primus talking to someone on a communicator, the person on the other end of the commucator sounds pleased at what the lab coat clad person reports to them.
"My lord, I have aquired a unique specimen that has an uncanny ability, it's a clone of the one that took down the black star gang and my drone. it Should be ready in a week's time to be ready for mental conditioning and be put to use for the glory of the empire and the emperor"
The voice of a man responds back pleased with it's lackey. "excellent work agent the collectors will come to pick it up in a week hahahahah, don't disappoint me for the glory of the empire".
the transmission cuts as Primus feels disgusted at being targeted as a political tool yet again.
Mercury and the others leave the hospital as they stop in front of a vehicle with two women in front of it staring at the group. the short woman waves at the group and signals them to approach.
As they come into clear view of the duo, it's the stations commander and her secretary, leene smiles as the doors of the vehicle open up and she invited the group in as she enters. " Please come in there's some business I would to discuss with all of you." She tells the group as they have entered the vehicle.
