It was night, in a towering walls of shadevale citadel, sunshine dimmed in a cloudy day.
Soldiers and generals laugh while merrily drinking with a little feast knowing tomorrow is the day of war between humans and the monster come from one of the 4 gates of hell.
During the day, the preparation was already finished, a big piercing ballistas was readily installed in the walls accompanied with cone-roofed tower with a floating blue crystal in it, a magic tower and a catapult with a flaming boulder as projectile.
Normal traps and magic traps has already been put into place on the field outside the citadel that will become a bloody battlefield.
"so, tomorrow is the day?"
"yes, that's what lord Belmont told us in his speech yesterday"
"theron, didn't lord Belmont made a clock tower about it? I'm sure tomorrow it will ring"
"you two, why not let's enjoy ourselves today, we don't know if we will come back alive tomorrow"
"sir silas is right, cheers!!"
"by the way general, where did lord Belmont go?" spoke one of silas subordinate.
"ahh lord Belmont? Probably scaring those two mischievous kids" replied silas, which is just as drunk as his subordinate.
"do you mean the young master and your daughter?"
"yeah, well it always happen anyway, but I wonder what place did those two sneak up to again" said silas after drinking a cup of ale.
"it probably, the lord's office again speaking how fanatic is young master to the golden sword, general you should probably worry about your daughter which is too obedient to the lord"
"nahh, she's going to be alright and besides the lord is just there just to prank them"
"sure he does, well let's drink and eat up"
And the knights and soldier drink to there hearts content.

Inside the mansion at the center of the city, there was a boy named felix sneaking around the hallway near duke's Belmont skyrel office with a girl came from a knight family and felix childhood friend.
"faster lina! The guards is off duty today, but be careful not to make noises" whispers felix who was tip toeing the floor to avoid making noise.
"young master, we shouldn't go there, that is lord Belmont office" spoke lina but still followed him.
"that's why we're going to grandpa's office, I just wanted to take a look at the golden dagger"
"but, young master it is a restricted place, let's get out of here before we get caught!" spoke lina anxiously.
But despite lina's words, she still couldn't convinced Felix.
Felix approached the office door, he looked left and right, and was relief that there's no one in there, luckily the door seems to be half opened.
"it's opened? Strange wouldn't grandpa locked it up, but I brought the master key in advance though"
"master key? Wait, young master did you steal it from lord Belmont?!"
"you don't need to know, I only borrowed it to open the weapon case where the golden dagger lies"
"b-but, that was-" felix interrupted her and spoke.
"no buts, let's go"
As soon as he entered, what transpire in felix eyes was the neatness of the place, there's a table with a map in it, besides the window was some fancy suits, swords and armors and opposite it which was suppose to be felix aim, it was a golden small sword with it's tip buried in a mechanical metal, a weapon lock.
Felix eyes glisten as he saw a tiny sword as small as a dagger with shining golden hilt.
He mezmerize the decoration on a weird metal lock and he whisper to lina excitedly.
"look lina, it's the marchion of time and space!"
"you mean the golden dagger?"
"what are u talking about, it's not a dagger despite it's small size, didn't you see grandpa coolness in the battlefield slashing all the monster with this sword" he spoke enthusiastically worshipping the small sword.
"wow, it's really awesome young master, I saw it too" lina couldn't help but amaze felix statement.
But Lina could also feel that someone is watching them, giving her some creeps as she lean at felix side. "young master felix, shouldn't we get out of here, I suddenly had a bad feeling someone is watching us"
But felix couldn't understand her worries as he didn't feel or sense someone nearby even though he was practicing his family's hereditary battle force manual which enhance someone sense.
"don't be a wussy, lina... OK I'll open it and check out the sword" he spoke with an excited expression but before he could even insert the key on the keyhole, suddenly a domineering voice suddenly rangs in the air, shocking the two sneaky kids, giving them goosebumps.
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING HERE?"
The two of them was taken aback after hearing the voice and suddenly it makes lina kneel with her head on the floor frightened.
"l-lord Belmont, I'm sorry! It was my fault not stopping young master felix again" spoke lina with a frightened voice. While felix was still frozen due to shock.
"Get up, you two kids, you shouldn't just sneak around in this place, why are you even here?" even though he already knew the reason,
"umm.. Lord Belmont i~"
"it's Lina, you can go back first, I'll still have to teach this brat a listen"
"y-yes, but lord Belmont even though I don't have right to ask but please don't punish young master felix too much, I beg you, your lordship"
"... It's alright Lina I'm just giving him a little talk, you can go back first"
"y-yes" Lina flusteredly left the office.
'since when did that kid got courageous, this must be my grandson's doing'
felix has recovered from his frozen state and dumbfounded spoke with his pale face.
"wahh! Grandpa!? W-why are you here? Aren't you suppose to be with the soldiers!?.. Oww"
Belmont hit felix head with a little strength and sermoned him.
"you brat, did you take my key again? How many times do I have to tell you not to sneak into my office everytime the feast of the daylight happens?"
"hhmph, I only wanted to hold the sword for a second and the feast of the daylight is the best chance to do it, besides it's just a cool sword what's wrong with holding it?" felix begrudgingly said.
"You stubborn and rebellious brat, it's not the time for you to hold the ancestral sword yet before even reaching adulthood, didn't I told you before that the ancestral sword, marcheon of time and space is the heart of shadevale citadel. What if it's lose because of your recklessness? And besides the power that resides it is too powerful for you to handle with that small body of yours" angrily said Belmont.
"but, what should I do to get that sword" he spoke with his hand on his head due to the pain.
"so your willing to listen to your mighty grandfather?"
"as if" refute felix.
Belmont sit in order to face his grandson and grabbed felix shoulder, saying with a confident face.
"felix remember, power comes a great responsibility, but you must use your own power to save the weak and your people, to bring a right justice and to your belief, in order for you to become the next lord of this vast city, protect the people of your ruling"
"grandpa, can I really become the lord of this city?"
"you can so work hard to become strong in order to protect those loved ones around you"
"y-yes" felix was touched by his grandfather words and started to work hard for the greater good of shadevale citadel.

The world seems to be a peaceful place, but war was constant in my world, many mystery is hidden from the depth of the world, just like the vast ocean for the years it still remains a mystery. Just like how our society today that keeps changing, and the technology develops faster and civilization rise in unprecedented rate.
I'm William, I lived in pangasinan, Philippines. My father was the mayor there and the ceo of katipunan merchant association.
Despite were rich I'm not really fond of money but I'm a bonafide otaku, I like reading comics and watching anime, but that hobby of mine was stopped when I undergo military training since graduating, I have 2 siblings, luna my elder sister and jake the youngest.
My sister luna was the smartest out of the three of us with an average 95+ grades he got in school, she was also started to help our father as his assistant, she has an excellent talent as an entrepreneur while my youngest siblings jake talent lies in technology, he become a good hacker and programmer even though he was still young, but I knew it wasn't just the talent that made him great but his own hard work, but he still though a 9th grade high-school student.
Well I'm not pretty much talented in each field, I'm just good at fighting, I'm not smart like my siblings that's why I did work hard in the military camp but the world suddenly change when I just finished my military service years.
