As Sirzechs and Sairaorg were beating up Abaddon in their non-magical brawl, Zeoticus, Rias' father, intervened and stopped them while also fixing the damage they'd done to the school.
"Oh, hey, old man." Abaddon greeted the man casually. His hair was all messed up and his uniform had multiple rips in different places. It was the same with Sirzechs and Sairaorg.
Seeing the older Devil, the three of them coughed and fixed up their clothes. They were just messing around after all.
"You've grown stronger, I see," Zeoticus mentioned as he examined Abaddon.
Abaddon shrugged, "I guess. I did get a Longinus." He looked back into the classroom and found that the people were dispersing. Rias and Akeno on the other hand were walking up to the group. Akeno was looking at him with her usual teasing expression, and Rias almost scowled as she approached them.
"Hi, cus." Abaddon smiled and greeted Rias.
"Don't 'Hi, cus' me!" She snapped, "You couldn't have distracted him?"
"I was busy." Abaddon glanced at Sirzechs and Sairaorg.
Rias' brow twitched and she asked, "Can we go home now?"
Abaddon gave a light laugh, "Sure." He grabbed her and Akeno's waists and pulled them close. Then he cast a teleportation circle and teleported to his home with Rias, Akeno, Sirzechs, and Zeoticas. Leaving Sairaorg behind so that the guy could go fuck himself.
As they all appeared in the living room of Abaddon's new mansion, he was subjected to two glares. One from Rias' brother and the other from her father.
"What?" He asked cluelessly while still holding her close. Rias meanwhile was just ignoring all of them and Akeno was quietly leaning against Abaddon's shoulder.
"You're really bold, aren't you?" Zeoticas asked Abaddon with narrow eyes.
Abaddon stopped himself from rolling his eyes, "Come on, uncle. You were selling her off to that fuck from the Khaos Brigade. Consider your daughter sold to me instead. End of story." He shrugged.
"Can you not act like a douche, man?" Sirzechs said with what seemed like a helpless sigh. He noticed that Abaddon seemed to already be aware of the Khaos Brigade but didn't comment on it for now due to the presence of Rias and Akeno in the room.
"She doesn't mind it." Abaddon gestured to Rias who was still unwilling to meet any of their gazes.
Before the conversation went further, Abaddon said again, "All right, we have all night to let you guys talk shit at me about taking your precious daughter/sister. For now, I'll show you both to the guest room." He turned to Rias, "You and Akeno can rest for a while until the others return." He told them.
He also teleported Sairaorg to his home and let him rest in one of the rooms.
…
"So what's the deal with that Chicken Man?" Abaddon asked as he leaned back against the couch with Sirzechs and Zeoticus sitting on the couch in front of them. Sairaorg was currently in one of the guest rooms, meditating.
"You mean Riser?" Zeoticus asked.
When Abaddon nodded, Sirzechs told him, "You don't have to worry. The Satans have everything under control." There was a slight tone of condescension in his words.
Abaddon gave the man a dry look and said, "You really want to play the authority card in front of me?" He directly threatened Sirzechs with his Zekram.
"I'm just fucking with you. Why do you have to bring up that dude in every conversation?" Sirzechs held his hands up in defeat.
"Then tell me directly. Don't try to appeal to my inner insecurities." Abaddon called Sirzechs out.
"Shithead," Sirzechs shook his head and was about to continue but Zeoticus interrupted him.
"As fun as the banter between you both is, how about we get some drinks before talking?" He asked with a smile and Sirzechs shared a look with Abaddon before backing away.
"Sure." Abaddon agreed and cast a circle on the table. Two expensive bottles of single malt whiskey appeared from that circle along with three glasses.
"Hm?" Zeoticus looked at the unmarked bottles with narrow eyes before grabbing the bottle and examining it for a moment, "Is this what I think it is?"
"Azazel's stash," Abaddon smirked, knowing exactly why Zeoticus seemed like an angsty teenager who was about to consume booze for the first time.
The man's eyes perceptibly widened as he heard Abaddon's words and he gulped. His eyes hardened as if he'd just made a decision. He stood up and approached Abaddon. He stood beside Abaddon and said, "Get up, brat."
Abaddon was a little confused, but still got up, curious about what Zeoticus was about to do.
The older Devil grasped both of Abaddon's shoulders and looked at him deeply, "My son-in-law." He nodded and hugged him tightly.
'The fuck?' He mouthed to Sirzechs who was just as confused. He'd thought that his father would help him abuse Abaddon for defiling his sister, but the situation seemed to have taken a turn.
"I see you're confused." Zeoticus chuckled at Abaddon's confusion, "Azazel's whiskey is famous throughout the Supernatural world." He said before sitting back down beside Sirzechs.
Seeing Abaddon and Sirzechs not realizing the value, he continued, "Thousands of years ago, during the era of the Old Regime, Azazel spent a few decades brewing and making spirit alcohols as a hobby. The guy was a typical alcoholic and wanted to make his own drinks." He said.
Abaddon and Sirzechs patiently listened to the story as Zeoticus continued, "Back then, he made a large number of drinks that were famous throughout the mortal and supernatural worlds. But he stopped after the initial decades."
"This is a single malt from that time?" Sirzechs asked as he grabbed the bottle and tried to see the liquid inside.
"If only it was that simple," Zeoticus sighed, "I don't know what he did, but the stuff that he brings out now is so immaculate that it's better than drinks that were aged for far longer with superior protection magic."
Abaddon said, "So he makes good whiskey. Got it." He nodded, he didn't give a fuck about Azazel's hobbies. And he'd extorted literal barrels of this stuff from the guy in exchange for helping him deal with Kokabiel.
"No!" Zeoticus seemed agitated, "It's not just good whiskey, it's the greatest whiskey that I've ever had. If only that bastard hadn't decided that he would only serve it to his guests and not sell it… I would've bought out his whole stock" His eyes were radiating a level of conviction that made Abaddon want to try something.
"That's nice, I'll give you one of my two bottles as the dowry for Rias, she belongs to me from now on," Abaddon said with a glint in his eyes.
"Deal!" Zeoticus agreed before Sirzechs could even say anything, "She's yours from now on." He said and a magic circle appeared on the table before one of the two bottles disappeared. He even cast a contract circle to solidify the agreement.
"F-Father!" Rias' shocked voice came from behind, making both Sirzechs and Zeoticus widen their eyes. As for Abaddon, he was amused. He was going to enjoy this show.
"My Rias, come here." Abaddon beckoned her over to himself in a tone that was similar to a certain flaming chicken, "From today, you no longer belong to the Gremory clan and are solely my property, you will be Rias Bael from now on." He joked.
"Shut up!" She snapped with a tinge of red on her cheeks, "You sold me over a bottle of booze?! I hate you!" She said before going back up the stairs.
Abaddon didn't know what to say and telepathically asked Akeno, [Do I go console her?] She'd also come down with Rias.
She gave him a look that said, 'Obviously, dumbass.'
"I'll go talk to her." He said to Zeoticus and Sirzechs who were still frozen, especially Sirzechs who was hearing Rias' words echoing in his ears again and again, "Can you serve them some tea, Akeno?" He asked her.
"Of course." She said with a sweet smile.
Abaddon gave her a quick peck on the lips and squeezed her ass before following Rias.
…
As Abaddon walked to his bedroom, he saw Rias sitting on the floor outside his room with her hands wrapped around her legs as she leaned against the door. Her face was buried in between her knees so Abaddon didn't see her expression.
Abaddon didn't say a word and sat down beside her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. She slightly leaned toward him without bringing her face up from her knees.
The next few minutes passed in comfortable silence and that was when Rias finally opened her mouth, "Abaddon." Her voice was slightly muffled due to the position of her face.
"Mhm?" He asked.
She didn't answer and went quiet again. Abaddon also didn't push it. She would talk when she wanted to.
When she finally looked up at him, Abaddon saw her hard expression as if she'd just gone through an internal battle. He gave her a gentle smile.
"Would you believe me if I said that I hated my father?" Rias asked.
"Why wouldn't I believe you? He decided your marriage to that douche of a person without truly asking for your consent, I wouldn't put it past you to have some resentment for that." Abaddon agreed.
"And what if I said that I despise the whole Gremory clan?" She asked.
"Now that's a little harder to believe." He said, "You aren't that shallow."
"Yeah…" She said with a tired sigh, "It's just hard, you know? He acts like he cares about me and then makes jokes about selling me for a bottle of booze." She complained.
"I don't think he was joking about it." Abaddon clarified. Zeoticus seemed as serious as ever when he sold Rias to Abaddon for a single bottle of whiskey.
"All the more reason for me to hate the guy." She scoffed.
"Come on, I don't want to sit on the floor anymore," Abaddon said before standing up. He held his hand out to Rias who grabbed it after a few seconds and stood up.
