In the pitch-black room, they could feel the subtle vibrations of the air, as if it moved in ethereal patterns around them. Squinting their eyes, they attempted to pierce through the veil of darkness, their focus spreading like tendrils in the void. A faint presence teased their perception, elusive and ever-shifting, as if it danced with the currents of the unseen.
