Helheim. On Thor's birthday.
Hela was making her final preparations. For a hundred years, she had studied souls quite well and was able to make her divine death rune. It is completely her rune, which has nothing to do with her father Odin and which cannot be used by anyone except her and the servants to whom she will give permission.
It was worth hundreds of years of continuous study of rune magic and various ways of using divinity that mortals came up with. With the help of her rune, she was not only able to grant the power of death to mortals without a serious drawback in the form of life expectancy, but mortals can now grow and develop.
Using the rune, they can transform the energy of dimensions and also connect to Helheim to gain power. So over time and through more generations, mortals can generate the energy of death themselves and use it for their magic. However, this is still not an ideal solution. According to Hela's calculations, although mortals will be able to create their energy, the replenishment will be extremely slow. At the same time, the reproduction of mortals will deteriorate significantly, not only because of the increase in life expectancy but also because of the very energy of death.
Death does not presuppose the creation of a new life. Death is the end, the end of history and eternal peace. After death, there is no new life or new adventures. There is no new history and continuation of its kind.
Stupid mortals believe that rebirth or eternal paradise awaits them after death, but no. The final death is the absolute end. Therefore, there is such a thing as a soul. The soul does not allow the entity to die completely, thus you can go to the second round, but without the soul, the death of a living person is the end.
With all these thoughts, Hela finished her new Necrosword. During her time in this realm, Hela improved her blade-making abilities many times, but mostly she used only two directions.
This is an increase in the damage and durability of the sword. The second is a beacon that will release her aura, thereby confusing Heimdall and Odin. They can't directly see her place and position in this world, but they can track her by aura. Therefore, she created a new sword specifically for this. However, she will have to be careful in Midgard not to release too much aura and not attract Heimdall.
A little trouble until she understands how to create a thing that can completely hide it from prying eyes.
Suddenly, Hela felt her connection with rune magic being severed, and despite her efforts to halt it, she failed.
"No!!! It can't be! My power over the runes exists because I am the rightful heir of Asgard. This connection cannot be lost," Hela exclaimed, seething with anger. After a moment of reflection and calming down, she realized there was only one explanation for the loss of her connection with rune magic.
"Odin, you despicable traitor! Not only did you confine me to this realm, but you also birthed a new heir. You dared to rob me of what is rightfully mine!" Hela fumed with a mixture of anger and profound indignation. While she struggled to survive and find a way to escape, her father audaciously brought forth another child, grooming them to be the next ruler of Asgard. She couldn't forgive such a betrayal, not that she had any forgiveness left for her father at all.
"What a monstrosity! How much time has passed? 150 years, perhaps less? Asgardians require millennia to conceive a child, yet he accomplished it in just over a hundred years," Hela muttered, her rage building up. Throughout her childhood and most of her life, she had been trained as a warrior and a general, learning to keep her emotions in check. But now, she had restrained herself for far too long.
In the open field, the wrath of the gods unfolded before anyone's eyes. Each furious swing of her sword, fueled by anger and rage, decimated hills and carved deep chasms in the ground. Necroswords soared haphazardly through the sky, leaving massive craters wherever they landed. And the release of her divine power was unimaginable. If this were the realm of the living, death would encompass hundreds of kilometers in all directions.
Exhausting her pent-up fury, or at least partially quelling her anger, Hela began to formulate a plan.
"If he has appointed his new child as the heir, then undoubtedly he awakened their divinity from birth. Hehe, the other realms will not sit idly by while Asgard faces this situation. It's time for me to break free," Hela declared.
She was about to employ her new sword and command her servants in Midgard to open the passage when she abruptly halted.
"I mustn't rush. Firstly, the mortals need a few days to prepare for the opening of a stable passage. Secondly, I cannot be certain when Asgard will descend into chaos. The frost giants and others may not cause immediate trouble. I need to issue orders for their preparation, and I must ensure that my father will be unable to react to my escape."
Hela felt a deep sense of concern, for descending into the mortal world in her physical form was vastly different from projecting herself there in her ethereal state. While projection could elude prying eyes, her descent would trigger various alarms in the spell that confined her to this place.
Utilizing her connection to the key that unlocked the world of Helheim in Midgard, Hela issued her command.
"Prepare to open the passage for my descent and make sure to anticipate any unforeseen circumstances. We cannot afford any mishaps due to lack of preparation," she instructed.
"Do not worry, my Goddess. We will execute everything to the best of our abilities," a voice responded from the other side. This voice belonged to the new and final guardian of the key to the realm of Helheim. They were frequently replaced due to being hunted by the servants of Hades and because their previous roles had been somewhat incomplete. With the creation of Hela's rune, they had grown significantly stronger and their lifespan had increased.
However, this improvement was attributed to the establishment of an order. The hunters could not concentrate on a single target, and the destruction of one base did not significantly impact the Order of Death. They constantly moved between cities and villages, maintaining multiple branches and bases.
Knowledge was preserved within the key, serving as a repository of magical and martial arts wisdom. Consequently, the frequent replacement of the guardian did not hinder Hela's escape plan.
"Now, I just need to ensure that chaos begins in Asgard," Hela contemplated. She considered the idea of establishing connections between Helheim and other realms. By doing so, she could confirm the commencement of war and chaos through the memories of the souls that arrived.
However, she couldn't directly establish a connection with Asgard since they had their small realm of death, where the Valkyries transported the souls of fallen soldiers to Midgard. It served as valuable cannon fodder during constant warfare and protected the souls of Asgard's warriors.
"That leaves the other realms," she mused. Hela pondered which realms were most likely to cause trouble in Asgard. Eventually, she decided to place her bet on the ice giants.
"The dwarves are loyal allies, and the Vanir are allies as well, although their loyalty may not be as steadfast. However, they won't likely initiate chaos over a new heir. The elves, those pointy-eared ones, are unpredictable. They might or might not initiate chaos. But the ice giants, possess the highest probability due to ancient enmity and their desire to conquer new worlds. Asgard has always thwarted their ambitions."
Having resolved to try her luck with the ice giants, Hela concentrated her power over Helheim and attempted to establish a connection with Jotunheim.
