Chapter 9 - Paradise

Chandra inhaled and pulled up her gown to see her barefoot on the ground. The ground looked so white as the sand of some beaches on the earth, but it felt so soft on her feet. She played her toes up and down and twisted them as her toes embraced one to the other. Her other hand was holding the heeled shoes.

Both of them were in each other mind world. She glanced at him and took a short look from his side angle. His lips were closed, and he clenched his upper and lower lips together, but he moved them in and out many times as one of his hands was pinching his chin.

She saw some clouds passing through between them. She touched some, 'It is tangible! Its texture so soft and frothy,' she thought. She seized a bigger one and jumped on it.

Kumara got startled by her action, "Where are you going?"

Chandra chuckled, sat on her both legs and offered him her hand, "Teach me how to ride it!" she screamed as the cloud tried to shake her and she almost fell, luckily she knew how to balance her body with some Silat movements that she had learned from the kingdom. She jumped in the direction the cloud shook her and folded upright one of her legs to keep balance in her kneeling position.

As quickly as he could, Kumara seized her hand, "You don't know how to ride it, you can fall!" he hissed at her, then in a few seconds, he smiled widely.

"Teach me so and ride me going around your palace!" Chandra smiled at him as he took a seat beside her.

Kumara tapped the surface of the cloud three times. "Cloud, you'll obey me, please! Take my wind as your controller and ride us around my palace!" he inhaled deeply, took his concentration, and closed his both eyes.

Chandra halted her breath as she felt so excited about what would happen then. She still stared at him. She grabbed Kumara's arm as the cloud unexpectedly flew rapidly. She chuckled as the cloud successfully maneuvered and flew under the bridge. She could see the water so as transparently as a crystal that she could see some fish and water plants living under it. The fish were colorful and the plants also the reefs under were green, blue to some degree red, and yellow. Another wonderful thing that made Chandra speechless and amazed was the night and the day could be splitted beautifully. She saw Kumara's palace from that place looking sparkling with the night lamps. "My gosh, it's so beautiful!" she covered her mouth with her hand. Kumara paused the cloud above the river stream, and he ordered it to move downward. Chandra smiled widely and she could touch the water. It felt so cool and warm to swap over as she dipped her fingers into it. The river had some beautiful fountains. Chandra spread her eyes around and found some beautiful girls in perfect body shape. 'Their skin looks so glowing and shiny whenever the light hit them. The light looks radiating inside their skin in the color of yellow, tan, and pearly pink,' she admired them and wondered who they were as creatures. Those girls were laughing at each other while they were taking a bath in that river under the fountain.

"Who are they?" as she saw they were smiling at Kumara. They sprinkled water on both her and Kumara.

Kumara glanced at her. "They are beautiful creatures who were born in this Elysium. They are vidyadhari," he explained. "Some men from your world could marry one of them if they are deserved it. Their good karma, their virtue, and destiny could bring one of them to the earth!" again Kumara explained.

"Are they goddesses?" Chandra felt curious, 'They look so perfectly glamour and beautiful!' she looked at them all without any blinks.

Kumara shook his head, "Not yet. They must pass some tests to acquire some competencies and skills as goddesses!"

"Elves?"

"Above the elves! They've some higher rank levels than the Elves," Kumara tapped the cloud and asked it to fly higher.

"Wait!" Chandra held his hand, "Could you marry Vidyadhari?" she lifted her two eyebrows skeptically.

Kumara giggled, "I could but I won't! I'm a prince of war!" his tone sounded heavy emphasizing and deep.

She cringed to hear his voice tone. "It means if you're a prince of war, they are not deserved to marry you?" Chandra asked and looked him through her side-eye.

Kumara cringed and wrinkled his forehead, "Why do you want to know? It's a personal reason!"

Chandra turned her head in the opposite direction as she found that the eyes Kumara were staring at her, "Never mind, Prince of War!" she answered in a flat tone.

Kumara exhaled harshly, "I don't like some personal topics!" he mumbled and rolled his eyes. Chandra cringed and tried to direct her eyes to another point.

They continued to fly over the palace and island. They stopped floating above a beautiful landscape.

"You like flowers, don't you?" Kumara asked and got down from the cloud. He offered his hand to help Chandra get down, but she pretended to ignore it.

"Aww!" again, the gown had made her fall. She quickly got up as she knew that Kumara tried to ignore her since she refused to hold his helping hand.

She unsheathed the sword in her hand and cut off the gown to her calf-high level. She tied up the cutting piece of her gown on her sword handle.

Kumara stopped his footsteps and turned his head back to Chandra. He lifted his two eyebrows as he found out what Chandra did to her gown. He cleared his throat three times.

Chandra kept her feet barely naked and felt the green moss, some little grass so soft, 'They look like green velvet,' she thought.

As she spread her eyes, she could see flowers in various varieties and some roses that were captured with different colors. Her nose could smell the fragrances of those flowers. Her eyes captured some butterflies, but they appeared more transparent and colorful as they flapped their wings the color of their wings would change. The breeze blew and whispered some words, Chandra opened her eyes widely. 'Did the breeze say something?' she asked herself curiously and she could hear some couples of butterflies chuckling and praising each other as they were in love. She giggled as she heard some of their sentences, 'Romantically funny!'
