In the year 1 of Moon of the Worm an invasion of masive scale took place. An invasion that not only mortals but also the Gods were affected.
Monsters from who knows where spilled out like a tide, spreading from the northern side of the South part of the world to the very Center. Then ernroaching to the rest like an unstoppable flood.
Those monsters have never been seen till this day, some have grotesque appearance, a mismatched parts of different beasts, Giants and Titans reaching the height of 3-10 meters tall, death being like undead walking as if alive and others were humanoid beings that has horns and bat like wings.
They call themselves The Dark Legion.
Killing and pilaging, no villages, towns and cities were left alone where the Legion passed. They were eaten, sacrificed, defiled and tortured. During those times natural death was blessing.
Everyday the Gods have called to every mortals to fight, even joining them. No matter how strong an individual or an army. No matter how they trained all their lives or how their equipments were all the best.
But it is for naught as the Legion was like a never ending tide, cause as long as the portal is open it will never be over.
Years of fight have exhausted their hope even some of the Gods have been discouraged since some of them never returned from the battle.
Gods fall have been happening even the numbers have surpassed the past when the war of the Gods.
Towns and Cities that was once a hub of people cease to exist, races gone extinct, lands and seas turned barren and unhabitable. Nobody was safe.
Destruction was imminent as the Dark Legion almost conquered every land.
