The beam that went backwards hit the core of the weapon as Falcon, Wolf, Dante, Virgil, Falux and the rest of Fireteam Angel heard. The entire weapon corridor exploded sending the room outside as Wolf looked around as they cleared the bridge outside of the sealed room. "You think they lived?" Wolf looked out the window as the explosion was seen.
"Not that one, and neither will you three." A man swung a blade down on the three of them, Wolf stepped backwards, pulling the two back with him. The three rolled backwards as the giant man stood there making the others feel in awe at the man. A burly build with being eight feet tall, a fully iron suit that could rival theirs.
"Checkmate!" Wolf drew his pistol and shot the round at the skull of the man as it sat neatly on his forehead. The man laughed as the other two sprinted past the man. He tried to slash them as Wolf fired a cable and pulled him backwards. "Just you and me big fella."
The man laughed as he sent slashes at Wolf, who began to narrowly evade the attacks, he just wanted to buy time as the other two entered the final room as several statues stood tall around the two of them. "Virgil, none of these rooms are airlocked are they?" Dante asked as Virgil nodded in agreeance.
"I know what you are thinking." Virgil looked at the map as the chair turned around and the statues started to move among them. The two looked around as they realized this was most definately too much for them. Virgil hoisted the launcher from his shoulder and fired it as a statue took the hit and shattered into dust. "Movement pattern theatre."
"Does it have to be that one?" Dante backed up as a statue tried to crush him, his attidute changing to match the new level of seriousness. Dante started sprinting as the statues couldn't keep track of him due to the sheer speed. Dante pulled a cluster of small cylinders out of his side satchel and put them along the window by tossing them. Being able to focus and help out Virgil as several holograms were running around of Jaqueis.
"Ah silly children, even if you make it past me, my guard will kill you." Jaquies spoke as his head became severed from his body as Dante held out a broadsword, the stain of blood across the middle of it noticable as the holograms stopped. The statues persisted as Virgil started taking them down with his launcher.
Once all the marble laid across the floor, Dante and Virgil looked over at the doorway as Wolf was held up by his head, with nothing below it. The two were horrified. Freezing for the milisecond that they couldn't afford. "What's the matter, Tiger got your tounge?"
"No but space has yours!" Dante detonated his explosives as the vacuum was created, pulling the three of them out with all the rubble. The gash was seen from space as the two of them stood on the outer layer of the station, watching a moon become vaporized by a cyan beam.
Tiger was floating in space as he froze, his blood boiled as the two of them were now the last memebers of the fireteams. "How do we get to the hangar?" Dante asked as Virgil pointed to the left.
"Two miles that way there is a secret hangar that we have to bust open, once we get aboard it, give it our callsign and we can get out of here to the planet." Virgil and him started to walk as they felt a shadow overcast them. Glancing up it was a ship, not theirs but Jaqueis'? They started to sprint as they became paste, a missile from the crusier was fired and evaporated them. Jaqueis stood on the bridge.
"Those little runts can't do anything to me as long as they don't know which one is the real me." Jaquies laughed as some of the lackey's on the bridge laughed as well. But to all of them, they thought that was it. "Start repairs on the superweapon." Jaquies commanded as the robots began repairing the weapon.
Just outside of the core room to the entire base stood three of the members of Fireteam Angel. The rest of them promised to just buy time. Culling twenty down to three quickly as behind each door they double welded it. They saw the giant reactor and charged forward to the center as they started to overheat the core.
"Troy, look out." Trent dived in front of him as the robots were coming in from two sides. Falux deployed a drop shield from one side as from the other, he and Troy opened fire and destroyed the first wave of robots.
Once the second wave appeared and the first wave from the other side came thorugh, they realized how dire the situation was, they had two options either keep opening fire and pray that a mobile robot factory ran out of robots or make a more drastic move. "Are you still with us Trent?" Falux asked as he saw welding coming from the third door.
"Just enough to set up an explosive, but can you two hold them off yourselves?" Trent asked as his armor looked rough. Holding the light bomb in his hands as he started to tinker with it. Troy leaned him up gently on one of the barricades as the two of them started firing into the mass of robots on each side. Falux would have to double check once they breached the third door.
Their gunfire was never ending as their weapons were slowly turning red hot from the action as they were getting surrounded from all sides. One of the bots shot Trent for the final time as he laid on his stomach, motionless as in his hands clasped the light bomb.
"Trent!" Troy became enraged at his brother being taken out defenseless by the robots as his weapons ran hot and stopped working. Throwing a grenade over the shield, it would explode the bridge and the support as it became uneven. The thrid door flew open. The barrage of bullets pushed Troy off the edge as he fell to his death down to the reactor.
Falux stood there in pain, his team and his men, all gone, if Airsoft were here he could have came up with a better plan of action or something that would have made it so they didn't die quicker. "Falux! Even if you are the last left don't give up, there is a reason why I left the team with you." Airsofts voice was heavy with pain as his situation was only becoming worse.
"Roger that sir." Falux looked at the ground as he was hit by a stray bullet from one of the robots and played dead. The robots all walked to the center and looked at the two members of the fireteam.
"Do we kill them?" The metallic voice spoke out as Trents nerves twitched. The robots opened fire on him while Falux grabbed the rolling light bomb.
"I don't keep anyone alive." Falux detonated the grenade as it absorbed all of them into the blast. The chain reaction between the reactor and the light bomb. Would level the station. As it exploded, wings on the outside formed.
