Astral heard a cry for help as he had to roll out of the way of a fireball screeching by his skull. All Astral could focus on is the barrage of attacks as he was in a constant state of evasion, it felt like there were more threats than last time comparatively. All the shadows around him were focused on stopping him. Using Muramasa he was able to cleave through them, but it still left Bloom and the Twin Jewels free reign to attack him without hesitation.
All Astral could focus on is the fact they all felt as fast as the battle tournament when Titan was giving them a buff from his magical reservoir, how were they all doing it. A Candyland clone appeared behind Astral as with one flick of his wrist he fell in half. Using the scythe he realized that there was very little he could do in this situation. He felt burnt out, all the spells he wanted to cast to help the army would take too long, but the battle here is more persistent. How could he do it all himself?
'You are not alone anymore, remember to reach out and talk to yourself every once and awhile.' The angelic voice from earlier. Astral recognized it as a Fallen charged directly at him, slicing it apart he got hit with a high impact round from Candyland as he brought more toys than candy weapons.
Sliding backwards Astral felt where the wound was as it was held in the palm of a green hand. "Can you focus on buffing all the troops on the planet if I take them on?" Astral spoke aloud as the Twin Jewels looked at him like he was crazy. A white hand extended to the stars as a magic circle filled the sky.
'Astral's blessing shall cover you all, in the brightest night and darkest day, you shall not fall!' The voice spoke inside of Astral's mind as it enchanted everyone on the planet with a buff to their strength and speed, to help them survive. The attackers paused in the moment as Astral closed the gap, slashing downwards to cut off Candyland's head as the Bloom vines pulled him back. Astral kept the aggression up as the Fallen void warriors could only throw themselves at him.
Ruby and Diamond had a magical spell charging as he was away from them. Waiting for him to come down the street as Candyland came whipping around. "It won't work, he is a different monster than before!" He took cover and readied an army of clones with rifles as they awaited the baited trap.
"If it doesn't work we need to buy more time for Titan to join the fight." Ruby spoke as Astral turned the corner, slicing two void entities to bits. He looked down the street as a bright beam of pure energy fired down the street. It was stronger than the attack Hephaen took to save him. And he had to make sure it hurt no one else.
Astral stabbed the left arm into the ground as a magic circle formed on the ground all across the planet, perfection had been activated for all of the forces as he felt a boost in his ability in that moment, much like when Hephaen died. Something terrible was happening and he couldn't do anything once again. All he could do was block the attack.
The white hand extended itself as Beacon was in its hand with Zero's glove on her hand, fitting to her size as the staff slammed to the ground, a circle surrounded the attack as it vanished and was stored in a separate place for now as Astral stood up, three arms dangling from the rest of his body.
"I TOLD YOU THAT IT WOULDN'T WORK!" Candyland opened fire with all of his clones as a fourth arm extended itself from Astral's torso. The green arm held up an energy shield as they realized they needed reinforcements. "I don't care if you are in a fight currently or not, but head to the aggression beacon! Astral is winning and we need help to stop him!" Candyland shouted out through his communication device he gave out to all of them as three people answered the call.
God Emperor slammed through a building as he brought his saber down across Astral's body as it was blocked by a fifth arm, this was the true power of Astral, the manifestation of everything buried deep inside of himself. The purple arm blocked the attack with ease as it pushed him back.
Diddler was the next to come as he charged from the back alley and swung his scythe at Astral, blocking it with his own scythe. "Hey, you took a cool thing of mine and used it for yourself, too bad the cards are stacked against you here." Diddler tried to smack talk as a pale blue arm smacked him lightly and sent him into a building as it turned its attention to the third and final member attacking Astral.
Nightmare came in laughing trying to stab Astral with a barrage of knife attacks as the pale blue arm blocked each and every one with ruthless efficiency. Nightmares attacks were trying to break through as all that was happening was the bone piercing his skin to power up his other ability.
Blood rained down from Nightmare as he sucked the blood out of two of Candyland's clones to create a blood spear to attack Astral. As the attack struck the ground where Astral was, all they did was look up. Astral hovered above them, six arms extended from his torso as he looked down on all of them for but a moment while Candyland directed the clones to open fire at him.
Astral slammed back into the ground with a shockwave as they couldn't keep up with his current movements. The Fallen swarmed in with four different void attackers as they were sliced in but a moment. The combination of his skill and abilities made him untouchable by them as they stood there all for a moment realizing that Titan couldn't save them if he tried. Wait, where was Mu?
"Did Mu really die to that girl, the weakest one of the four of them." Ruby stood still in shock as they realized how powerful they were. Astral overheard this as he realized where they came from.
"Check-in, tell me who is all alright?" Astral asked softly across the city as his voice soothed everyone on the planet who was wounded.
"We are fine Astral." Jaimie found the twins and hoisted James off of the ground as he was still functioning, just got saved in the nick of time by the distress call. "Achilles is pretty beat up but the twins are alive. Achilles is heading out of the city to the frontline, he will be patched up by the time he reaches the frontline." Jaimie cut herself off as something else happened in front of her.
Astral took a breath of relief as he saw the seven of them scheming a way out of this without dying. "I don't want to play anymore, lets see if you can keep up and not die right away!" Astral charged at them as a wall of void blocked his path. The white arm extended and shattered the wall with Beacon as Candyland opened fire with his rifle. The green arm extended once more and held a pistol, firing one round as Candyland's body fell uselessly to the ground as Nightmare, God Emperor and Diddler all charged in at once.
Astral could handle all of their attacks at once as Murasama proved to be too much for the three of them as Astral became surrounded by void. The purple arm and pale blue hand extended themselves once more and stopped the three fallen trying to attack him in his back. This barrage by Astral would be the breaking point for them.
